  1. Don't pay for a credit repair service, you can do it yourself and do it more efficiently.
  2. Sounds like they closed it.
  3. Congrats on the CLI, they recently just gave me one also. Didn't even ask for it.
  4. Congrats! Thank you for your service. Glad that BofA did the right thing.
  5. I would not sweat it, whatever they are gonna do, they will do. I have one too that rarely gets used hasn't been CLD yet.
  6. Really? mid 600's? What credit report did they pull? Did you have any of their cards already? Did you use the preapproval site? They pulled EX, I did not have any other BofA cards. Had one a very long time ago but was closed in like 1999. I did not use preapproval site. I read on another thread somewhere that someone applied for this card and had success so I tried itand was successful.
  7. If the non-custodial parent is in arrears, that money is due no matter how old the child is. That is correct, they can get you for arrears at anytime. CS does not figure in to your FICO scores. I have 2 sep TL's pertaining to CS. The only time it has been an issue is when I re-financed my house. They counted it as a debt and it figured into my debt to income ratio.
  8. Send them a C&D / FOAD letter.

  10. I don't know about Citi, but BofA just approved me for 10K with 0% intro on balance transfers. My scores are mid 600's. It is the platinum plus visa. May be worth a shot for you.
  11. It is definitely past the time they can report it, depending on your states SOL they could still attempt to collect. Got a shredder? I would just shred and ignore.
  12. I'm not sure what their cutoff is or what standards they use. When I got mine they approved instantly so I do not know what the 3-5 days thing means.
  13. As far as I know they are the same, it is all about the financial institution that backs them.
  14. Correct, you want them to stop contacting you through the phone but still want to leave the option open for them to contact you by mail.
  15. Google for your state bar association, this should have all complaints listed.
