  1. No the scores are FICO except the credit karma. I think I need to change my sig from 2007 (thats how long i have been away from this board) thanks everyone. I will keep my fingers crossed
  2. short version of a long road BK in 2012 I was a member of NFCU back in the 80s-90s. Left NFCU for shiny new banks, called NFCU to see if my membership is still good and it was, after lurking on board to see what would be my best bet, I applied for a line of credit for 1000 was approved.(Soooooo happpppy) I also applied for their CC (fingers crossed on that one) I wonder what my chances are for approval for their CC? NFCU pulled all three but no bigger I would take a "L" for an approval EX 655, EQ 620, TU IDK varies via Credit Karma 596 I have a Cap1 QS 500 and a Cap1 Plat 300 thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions
  3. THANKS I will search but at this point, I have read way too many juniper horror stories. I want to shy away from them.
  4. So I had a 1K limit with them, used this card ALOT. Paid it all off on Tuesday of last week, then I find out that they decreased my limit to 500. I called this morning and asked why could not get a firm answer, then I said I wanted to close the account and the CS rep said she wouldnt advise of closeing it just yet, wait to see what happens in a month or so. I have had the card for a year and I have another Juniper card (airtrans) I really dont need it but dont know how it will affect my score if I do close it. Bottom line is I didnt close it today but tomorrow is a differnt story.
  5. Oh I know, Honestly I stress about everything - lol. I know what my ultimate goal is - to get rid of the bad and to keep off by NOT falling into the bad credit ditch again.
  6. I have decided that I can not nor will i ever try to figure out what is going on with equifax. My fico has played yo-yo for the past three months. I have felt like I was on a bad carnival ride Back in July, I disputed some things when my score was 628 after I started the dispute my score dropped (which I expected) to 622 then it continued to go downhill fast, (with Calvary, Palasides and ANFI each adding a old collection account back on my file) Well finally it has climbed back to 628 and I used to just hate those alerts that Equifax would send and I would work myself up in a frezny of being upset, mad or just plain confused about the whole process. BUT NOW I think I am not gonna pay attention to them and just work on my ultimate goal, the stress is not worth it

  8. Hi to everyone, I have a split file in equifax. I received my annual credit report and it has a bunch of old accounts that I have worked so hard to get deleted and I also have my online equifax (via equifax credit watch). SOOOOO I called equifax and the rep was pretty rude and said to me !) How do you know you have a split file 2) Why are you calling equifax ( ) I told her that I know I have a split file because I am looking at the 2 reports that equipfax says that are me with two different DOB and no activity on the annual report that I received since March of 2007 and the other equifax report is the one that I use online and that I am calling Equifax because I have nothing else to do today. I was trying to explain to this lady that I have disputed some items that were not mine from annual report and that Equifax has veriferied and deleted and that I was afraid that If she started to combine the two reports that all that I have accomplished would be lost and I would be in this cycle of dispute hell with Equifax and the creditors - she then told me that if I didnt want the reports merged then that was my choice????? she then promply put me on hold and then disconnected me - LOL. So here is my question, do I send in both reports and have them merge the two and wish for the best? or do i just leave well enough alone? thanks for your help
