AmEX is pretty good with honoring SOL. They had a default on one of my accounts and 1 month before the 4 year SOL expiration, they wrote me that they are dropping the judgement since they are cant legally collect (paraphrasing here). Less than a week later, the judgement was dropped from all 3 reports. They still call my google voice every other day thou.

I'm in a similar situation, 5 charged off AmEx, received Optima offers on 2 cards and a full restore (including reactivation of lost points) on a Gold card. Read the fine print, it clearly states that you don't qualify if you still have delinquent AmEx account(s)

I don't want to pay $24.95 and $29.95 respectively for Smart Credit Premium and Transunion Plus. Is there any coupon code or trick to get these at cheaper rates? Thanks in advance.
