  2. Has any other individuals had loan issues with PenFed? I have a personal loan with them and each month I pay over the monthly payment but they do not apply the overage to my principal in order to lower it. They continuously push out your payment month. I had to call in to try and fix the application of the funds and one customer rep said this was a glitch and today another customer rep said this is how their system works. They have to completely reverse the payment which is supposed to happen in 48 hours. The reverse of payment was not done with the first customer rep and now I had a second call today and another 48 hour wait. I am now told to make the monthly payment online and then call in each month to request the principal payment out of my savings. Today’s call just to get a rep was an 18 min wait! Am I wrong or does every bank usually apply a monthly payment and any excess funds naturally goes to principal payment? Let me know if my understanding is incorrect. Pushing out the month cheats the customer from lowering the principal and interest they pay. Correct?

I just tried this and got the success plus saw my credit limit go to $0 and it added to the card I chose but once finished, I went to my main page and all cards are still showing credit limits prior to combination. I am wondering if there is a delay or is it not working. Anyone else having this problem?

  6. Well, I have tried all day so far for CK to update my Cap One balance etc. and it does not update. It keeps going around but no update. So I am waiting until tomorrow and hopefully an increase will show. The card was not a credit steps, it was an Orchard that was brought over to Cap One.
  7. I checked the Cap One site today and it still shows the old limit.
  8. Ok. I will view the alert as meaningless. The increase stated was by $850 with a total of $1250 as the new limit. I was waiting for next month to ask for an increase through the luv button and thought I got lucky with an auto increase. This card was an Orchard card that Cap One took over.
  9. I just received a monitoring alert from Credit Karma today stating my credit limit was increased on my Capital One card. I checked my account on the mobile site but it still is showing my old limit. I see no change. Has this ever happened to anyone here or should it change later today or tomorrow? Any input will be appreciated.

    Well, I just got off the phone with my privacy matters and they said they are aware of the no EQ report showing and it is being worked on. They have no idea when it will be fixed and no compensation will be given for not being able to get the EQ data. All I can say is WOW. Those reps are a piece of work and boy they have attitude when speaking to their customers. This problem doesn't seem like it will be fixed anytime soon. Their response is basically "just deal with it" in a manner of speaking.

    All MPM Customer Reps are doing is filling out a ticket for the tech dept. and tell you to wait at least 48 hours. Today, I am still unable to pull EQ info.
