  1. I have been fortunate not to have had any issues with Paypal but I also only ship to the US, will not ship to an unconfirmed address and always make sure I list that in the auction. Another good idea is to set a limit on the number of feedback (positive) a person must have before they can bid. A lot of times a person will get kicked off of Ebay for and then open new accounts. I sell Avon and there has been a rash of fraud with emails to reps claiming they want 25 bottles of perfume. They will pay by Western Union, MO etc.. and it's usually in the UK-never the US. It really hurts that these scam artists will target hardworking people. There was a blog about a person selling a computer on Ebay and the winning bidder was in a foreign country and sent a fraudulent payment through some sort of phony escrow. There were all sorts of people working on the sellers side and he ended up drawing a picture of a laptop on a box and shipping the scam artist that instead of the computer. Sellers revenge.
  2. They do that in the beginning. As the others suggest, just call them, they usually will take a payment over the phone. Another thing to note, sometimes they will not allow you to make more than one online payment per month. So if you like to pay on something you purchased and then you make a second purchase that you want to pay-you may end up with another of their messages.
  3. Wow-You have done so well! Congratulations on all your hard work. What do you mean by application spree?-(forgive me if this was answered elsewhere)
  4. I tried clicking this link and got a message that it was not found on this server. Did they change the page? Thank you syrayes
