I have some medical bill from my sons birth in January, resulting from the 10% I have to pay out of pocket. I had spoken to the Hospital where I had my son and we made a payment arrangement that I pay monthly to take care of any bills that I might have with them. On friday I get 5 collection letters from the same CA in regards to the money owed to the Hospital. The CA decided to split up the account into 5 different little amounts. Do I contact the Hospital and ask them why the account was sent to collections when I have a payment arrangement with them? The payment arrangement has not expired and I have not missed any payments. What do I do about the CA? Should I send a dispute letter to them? Not really sure how to handle this one.

Yup, they completely closed my account because they said they pulled my CR and did not like what they saw a couple of my Credit cards have High Utilization, but that is because I just used them for Xmas Shopping and was going to pay them in full after New Years. They totally closed my account not even a CL decrease. Gees, way to keep your good customers. Only had a $100 balance out of $800 CL. I wonder how they will report it now.

Not really my Jared card still says $800 CL and Available credit. I only have 2 CC with High Util but I went Xmas shopping, will be paying off beg. of January.

So I have a kays card and had a 800 CL on it. I have been making the payments on it since I made a 300 or so purchase on it about 3-4 months ago. Last statement said I had over 400 in available credit. I wanted to buy my Mother in Law a necklace that was $129 online, did the whole order thing, said I would get confirmation in my email. I get an email stating that the order was cancelled. I was like WTF so I look at my Account online says I have a $100 balance and 0 available balance on my card. I was never late always paid 1 week before due date. What is the deal? Has this happened to anyone else??? I will be calling during my lunch break as I am at work. Sorry for the spelling mistake in topic. I totally spaced on Decreased. LOL!!

I had sent MCM a DV letter on April 5 of this year, which they recieved on the 7th and I got the Greencard back. Today I get home and there is a "Settlement" letter from them but I have not recieved any validation from them to date. What can I do now. They are only reporting on my EX (of course), This is for an old Associates account which became delinquent on/about Jan of 03??? I really do not remember this account and have no documentation I could not find a listing for them I think they got bought by Chase? Does anyone know??It is not past SOL (6 years in MA). I do live in MA I had read a post that said that CA could not report on your CR unless it stated they were the assigne of XXX is that true? They are reporting as MCM. THe are violating the FDCPA section 808(1) it states on their letter "Benefits of paying - we will stop applying interest to your account" and 808 because they have yet to validate this account. Also it states "Your credit report will not be updated if the federal reporting period has expired or we have not previously reported on this account" Ummm correct me if I am wrong but if the federal reporting period had expired doesn't that mean that it is past SOL? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Not sure what second letter to send, when I have typed it I will post it. Thanks

Can a landlord call after 9 p.m. for overdue rent?

What I don't get is, if you have already told him that you would let him know by today, what you could pay and when. I see no need for the late night phone call. -
Got mine today and it is already gone..... paid off my living room set, daughters daycare, and misc cc bills. It was fun while it lasted.
