I'm an authorized user on my son's credit card. I was added to help build credit when I started my chapter 13. While his payments are made on time he is always maxed. I've made payments to make sure it's paid but I won't pay it off for him. I want to remove myself from his card but would losing the age tank my scores? Any ideas?

I tried doing a search however I am unsure if this has ever been a topic. There are soooo many topics to choose Aaron's rental I returned the merchandise as it was very cheap furniture that began to fall apart. Date opened 12/2014 Date of last payment 7/2015 Date of 1st Delequincy 7/2015 Returned the furniture 8/2015 Deliquency Reported 8/2015 Reflecting Paid Charge off for the full amount of the furniture rental $1333 I returned the furniture. How can they have an amount for the charge off??

It has by the 1st with late after the 10th however I do have the change to bi-monthly via text. I know that probably wont hold so I will get something more formal in writing. Does it matter how its paid as I usually withdraw cash and get a receipt? I never use checks... do not even know where my check book is I haven't owned a home is years and I remember my previous mortgage application used a letter from the landlord. Not sure how it will work now.

Last year, I began paying my rent bi-monthly to get on track with paying debt and having my bills paid on time. It was easier to do it that way than to have a huge chunk out of 1 paycheck. Fast forward, I am hoping to go for a mortgage by the end of year. Does anyone have any idea how that will affect my mortgage process? Should I go back to paying at the beginning of the month? Any advice is appreciated.

To save more money for my home within the next year I would like to refinance my auto loan as it is a higher rate. I know this may tank my scores initially but would it be OK to get a new line of credit before going for a mortgage?

Good morning good people, I moved into a rental home which I LOVE... Area nice and schools are great. Had to get out of a rental townhome and was looking to buy but I am still working on credit issues. After moving into the home, I was told that the investors was looking to sell the home. This house is perfect for us and I can see us there for years to come. I talked to the investor agent and they are willing to do a lease option... I wanted to get some expert advice on dos and donts. Also, what are your thoughts on these types of options??? I was told it is horrible for the buyers and people scam the money and all types of stuff... What do u guys think??? Thanks Jazzy

there is one CA that was put on my report... they are showing it was "included in BK" however the dates and everything are AFTER my discharge I have disputed and it came back verified. Now they say it is frivilous... LOL Anyway I wanted to get an idea if I am on the right path and just jump in... I am over 2 yrs post ch 7 and have excellent credit since then (but a medical collection I am trying to PFD)... UGH... fixing credit can be a full time job!!!

When applying for a mortgage does the disputes on the credit reports need to be "completed" or do they have to be completed before it goes for underwriting? I just disputed a CA but now I want my mortgage lady to pull... should I wait the 30 days or can she pull now?? Just a question before I pull again

Can the CRA's delete the line???

Okay I have a question... I remember reading somewhere that if its several inq within a certain timeframe it is only counted as 1. Can anyone point me in that direction? I have 3 inq on one day and 2 within 4 days... can I call the bureaus and ask them to "merge" the inq? What do you guys think?
