I need some help. I havent found the answer on the forum.
I have a bunch of accounts I need to clean up. I can do "Pay for Delete" on the smaller ones.
Who do I contact with this approach? The OC or CA?
I have a gas bill from 10/2007 I would rather pay the company then stupid NCO.
If I pay the Gas Company will NCO delete their entry on the report?
Can I pay the Gas Company even tho they sold the debt to stupid NCO?
I also have an old credit card account for MBNA which is now Bank Of America. It was charged off on 03/2004.
This account was bought by Cavalry Portfolio Services.
Original amount was $6000 and it is now almost 12K. There is NO WAY in hell I am paying Cavalry 12K.
What is the best way to handle this?
