I hate to ask, but I'm at work right now, and dont have time to look through 20 pages, can someone post the link that you all are using to find out when you're getting your rebates back? I'm 12, and direct deposited, and I still haven't gotten anything. I'm worried now that it's not coming. I dont owe any back taxes, so I cant think of why else I haven't gotten it. I was supposed to have it by the 2nd. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I didn't file until the 11th of April? thanks!

after two years of working to get my credit back on track, i finally broke the 700 club. TU is 702, EX is 700. Now, I just need to get EQ up there too. yay!

I'm probably going to use it for it's intended purpose, and spend almost all of it. There's an Ikea opening here in March and I cant freaking wait. Anything left over from that, I'll put towards wedding savings.

I got mine back in March, and just this month got an auto CLI. Wasn't expecting to ever get one on that card, but it came at a good time.

Has anyone else gotten this yet? I just recieved this in the mail today.... The minumum finance charge is now $1.00 for each billing cycle in which a periodic finance charge is payable. Does that mean that they I need to put at least a dollar on the card each month, or does it mean that when I use the card at all, they'll just tack on a dollar? Either way, I think this card is about to move from it's home in the sockdrawer to it's new home in the trashcan.

My friend just pulled his credit report, and he has a collection from August 2005, for 75$ The collection company name is FAC/NAB, and there is no contact info, or other information about the original creditor, it just has that FAC/NAB.....does anyone know who this is, or their contact info? I would greatly appreciate it. TIA!

sorry about the lack of updates...it's been a busy weekend. well, the smell is still there, but lessened quite a bit. i'm thinking the reason for that is that on friday and saturday, the temp was only in the low to mid 60's as opposed to the mid 80's it was in the beginning of the week. the management of the apt complex is completely aware, and are doing what they can. with the exception of tearing down drywall, there's not a whole lot else they can do. they've had four separate people in our apartment, they've looked EVERYWHERE. pulled out all the appliances, checked every corner, closet, and hidey hole in the place, took the covers off all the vents, and nothing. we spoke to the people that share a wall with us, and they dont smell anything, so if it is a dead animal, it's in an outside wall. the management called everyone in the bldg, and everyone is accounted for, so no one has died. at this point, we dont know what's going to happen. today is the 8th day that we've not been able to live at our house, and my in-laws are being really great, but i can tell they're getting sick of us. if it's not cleared up by tomorrow, we're going to start the process of moving to another apartment. i've documented everything, and have a letter drafted to send to their corporate office should we have any problems with local management. i dont think we will, but just in case. my fiance is going to deal with negotiating the no rent thing...he's a lot better at that then i am. we've also had several of our neighbors and friends go in to back us up on the smell, and the management of the apartment complex has been in several times as well. sorry this is rambly.

i'm going to go and talk to the office people face to face after work today, so far i've only spoken to them on the phone. we're already planning on being gone this weekend, and i'm going to call a county health inspector on monday if it's not gone, but i'd like to give them the opportunity to take care of it before i do that.

i have no idea how long the apartment was vacant...this is a pretty nice apt complex, so i doubt for very long. we've lived there since january though, and the smell just started last tuesday the 8th. i dont know...they keep telling me "it should go away in 3-5 days". well, it's been 10 days, and it's not only not gone, it's getting worse. i'm just sick of lugging a bag around from place to place. i miss my stuff. i want to sleep in my own bed. i'm spending twice as much on gas because the place we're staying is 20 minutes farther away from my work. i just want to either be able to move back into my apartment, or move to another one. i'm feeling whiney.

we do not have renters insurance....we've been talking about getting it since we moved in, and just haven't yet. is it too late to do it now, or can we just add it today, and hope for the best?

Well, it's now thursday, and it still stinks. i stopped by last night after work, and the smell has moved from the bedroom only to the rest of the apartment. I've been in pretty constant contact with the office people, and they have sent over two maint. crews, and someone from an exterminating company, and no one knows what the smell is. I was actually thinking the same thing, that maybe someone in one of the upper units had died, and I will bring that up the next time I call. There's not really been enough time to do anything in writing, since I really dont want to wait for the mail, but I am writing down dates and times and names and details of every conversation I have with them. Today, I'm going to call them and let them know that we do NOT want to pay any rent for the time we've been out of the apt. Dont know how that's going to go. If it's not gone by monday, I'm calling the BBB and the health department. Also, if the smell gets into our furniture and ruins it, can they be held responsible for replacing the furniture?
