I goofed up and forgot to pay a small amount on a credit card. It’s now a 60 day late. Amount total is $158.13. I can pay that any time. My Eqifax score went from 816 to 608. The debt is with Chase bank. I talked with them on the phone and offered that 100% and they said they could not remove the late pays. Any suggestions? Alex

Thanks! Actually no. This is my third new account this year. This card has only a 20 day float and a crummy interest rate. If it were not for the free shipping and handling I would not have applied. Once I get the card I intend to ask for 25K line and a lower fixed interest rate. After that I am going to freeze my three credit files until I am ready to purchase some real-estate.
