OK so basically I missed the spend deadline on a cc bonus and since currently I have some larger amount of funds on deposit I would like to see if they are willing to make an exception and give me the bonus anyways. -
Really? funny geico told me same thing, does anybody know what ins companies use choice pt? do they all use choice pt? i have excellent credit, no baddies but now i dont want multiple address showing up on CR because of choice pt or false addresses etc... dragging down my credit score
-
ok how do i order a report without giving them my "current address".? why do i have to give them any info, cant i see what they have on file first then give them some info? is there any way to get info from them without giving them anything? the whole thing is set up to get info from you when u request a report, what a total scam.... is there a customer service telephone number you can call to reach choice point? Being a reporting agency, choicepoint, and choicetrust is regulated by the FCRA, so I would regard them in the same light as the big 3 for credit. I wouldnt really worry about giving them any information on your current address, as it will only help them find your report easier, and verify you, you know the usual. Do you have the same reservations about giving your information to transunion or equifax to get a credit report? I may be wrong but I dont see a problem with giving choicepoint your address, of course anybody else feel free to chime in. if i have another address, i dont want that to appear on my CR b/c i know how such things can lower your score a bit.... i want just one address on my CR even if i request an ins policy on another property. plus i dont want to be giving choice pt anything. anybody have a cs number for choice pt?

But with choice point are we even talking about credit scores or something else like clue reports (whatever that his) total insurance claim histories.... etc...
-
what is a clue report? can u pull one from choice point without giving choice point any more info about you, like to you have to tell them where you live or what you own? (they sell data, my data why do i have to supply them any of my personel data for free? i charge for disclosure and the rate varies btw 500 to 1K or more and choice point should have to pay...)
-
Got a letter from Geico claiming that choice point has some negative info on me that must cause Geico to raise it auto ins quote. Geico cs claim it is just routine boiler plate letter. what is Geico up to? what is Choice point? Choise point wants me to list all of my "addresses" and info before it will send out a report to the consumer, like what is up with that? Even their disclosure is a info search to dig for data. So I cant request a report because i dont want to give them any more info about me...... anybody got a number for choice point? cs, complaints?

Thanks, I thought that I had heard of link AMEX offered to cc about free CR, once a year? thanks again The Amex Clear gives you a free EX report and PLUS score once a year. IMHO, it's not worth it. The score is worthless and you're entitled to a free annual report from each bureau anyways. anybody got the site for the request? thanks
