Dare you ask this question? Do a search and you will see how raked over hot coals for asking this question. I did get my declawed. It took him about a week to recover and he was back to normal. In fact he doesnt seem to realize that he has no claws----he still stratches.

These are brand new policies, only a few weeks old, and the software and training for all those people doing manual GLI reviews are not fully versed on the new policies. We do not know exactly how the software will affect each of the 30 million accounts, as many of them have had recent GLI's, many more have recent late payments on their credit file, etc. You don't lose anything by asking for a GLI, but the answer increasingly will become " until you have 6 months of on time payments after your last GLI, we cannot give you another GLI ". Even then, the software has been written to use the recent payment history of the other accounts on your credit file as a higher priority. Thanks for the info! Just another quick question: My store GL is at 12K and the last two times I called to ask for a GLI the CSR always says do you know your limit it 12K? As if I didn't know that. THE CSR offers to transfer me to a manager and i get neverous and say forget it. I do use the card ALOT because of that i like to have alot of availble credit open for my use. I am sure i spent upwards of 10k this year alone (brought a nice mink). Last year I probably spent between 15k-20k. Are GLI request from individuals who spend ALOT at Macys considered differently or a least do thay factor my usage into a GLI request? Why must i be transferred to a manager for all my GLI's?

so no need to ask for GLIs anymore? Wait every 6 months for an auto GLI? same for bloomies?

dell 29.99 just sad chase 20.74 rate jacked

If you use your CC they will charge you the CC cash advance interest rate. The interest rate on a LOC maybe lower than your cash advance interest rate.

Good thing I posted. I was going to call tomorrow since the payment posted today. Why is it that I should wait until the billing cycle ends? Just curious. I was thinking of asking for 10,000. Is that too much do you think? That would really help my utilization right now. No. last year this time i went from 6k to 12k with one phone call.

Yep me too. I have Saks, Bergdoft, Neimans, Casual Male and I have a couple of HSBC credit cards/line of credit. Almost forgot, I use to have best buy and HP but recently canceled. So you can have more then one and they won't deny. I got all the store cards over the course of the a year.
