  1. I know there was a post reviewing a few services, but now that I'm ready to pick one I can't find it. Anyone currently using Yodlee or something simliar? I would love to hear some feedback.
  2. This all makes sense to me, but can I ask a question that comes from my recent report obession? When should an inquiry drop off on its own? Is there a SOL?
  3. We can't re-fi until our loan is a year old which will be 4/23. We are also waiting for one last paid collection to come off my credit and one medical bill to come off h's report. Both should be done within 25 days. Right now we both have fakos in the high 600s. Should I start talking to a broker now or when I see those accounts get removed? Will locking for just over 30 days be possible? I really like today's rates. For any mortgage pros here that loan in FL, what are your current rates on 30 yr fixed and 5/1arms? We will have 20% equity and will not be a jumbo. We are looking for low closing costs. Advice appreciated.
  4. We just paid off some credit cards and a HELOC. They are all now (with the exception of one ) reporting a zero balance, but some still show a payment amount. Will this hurt us at all when we apply for a re-fi?
  5. Trust me I have been, but I want to check my scores to see if I'm where I want to be before I re-fi.
  6. Is Fico Standard the product you buy?
  7. I'm confused by all the products. Which do you use? Do any of them monitor all 3 scores or do you just buy all 3 when you need them?
  8. Will do. Thanks for the input.
  9. Value of the house $ 230K ( $250K according to Countrywide's system) Loan Amount $ 183K
  10. I'm waiting for a few things to update on our reports before I start looking for specific offers. But I wanted to get an idea what we'll be looking at fee wise. I expect all of our credit scores to be in the high 600s or low 700s. We have 20% equity. How much should I budget for closing costs? I checked out our credit union websites and they estimated $8000, that can't be right....
  11. Yep. I've done two recently online that were very straight forward and they were removed the next day. I talked to the creditor for one of them and he asked that I dispute with the bureau. He told me they would get the request the next day and correct it the same day.
  12. Did he sign a contract with them? The normal recourse for a contractor would be a lien on the house, have they done that? I don't know how this works, but I thought the government had to declare a ND not the insurance company.
  13. We applied with Countrywide and a broker last year and they both pulled twice. Each pull was within a week of the other.
  14. I'm confused. Is this line reporting as a paid collection?
