  1. I had the same issue. I called in and told them about it, and she sent me a password while we were on the phone. The lady also said she would stay on the phone while I tried to log in, and if it didn't work, she would at least read me the reply.
  2. Have you tried SassyInAz's original creditor letters? http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6086
  3. After disputing everything, I got a reply that the tax liens, judgments, and evictions was updated to 5, and that they were still looking into the negative account. I thought their time limit to get back to me would expire, but they sent me a letter on the last day saying everything was verified. I contacted them again asking for a procedural request and sent a letter to the credit union the negative account is from. ChexSystems replied fairly quick saying they would get me everything requested. The credit union then replied saying due to the age and the amount, they will just remove it from ChexSystems. About a week or so after that, ChexSystems got back to me with a copy of the letter the credit union sent me, and told me the account was removed. As far as the procedural request went, ChexSystems didn't do a very good job. It took them almost a month to get back to me, and all they did was send me a copy of what the credit union sent. If I didn't contact the credit union at the same time as the procedural request, Chex probably would have never gotten back to me. Don't really care, though, since the negative account has been removed.
  4. I just disputed everything to see what would happen.
  5. I keep getting denied due to Chexsystems. The latest one denied me "after a review of my Chexsystems report." I have 1 negative account listed that was closed due to non-sufficient funds. However, under tax liens, judgments, and evictions, it says 9. I have no idea where the 9 comes from, but it says it could include paid items, too. Still don't see how it comes to 9. If I dispute the negative account and it's removed, is that good enough to start getting me approved or is the 9 also going to be an issue? The 9 seems bad, but the accounts aren't listed. It's just a number. Do I just dispute as "9 isn't right", and then ask how they came up with that number? Or would this be a low priority?
  6. I didn't just send Experian a letter telling them I don't want the judgments on my credit report. I followed WhyChat's method which didn't work. I followed with Dollar Bill's method, and despite no social security number and the address not being my address, they were still verified. I then contacted to courts where and got the letters saying they have no record of Experian every trying to very them. Even that didn't do me any good. There's no way Experian is actually verifying anything. If I am going to have to shell out money, I would rather spend it on interest for a higher rate loan where I actually get the house than a lawyer to try to get Experian to fix this.
  7. I tried this a month or two ago about some issues Captial One was reporting on a paid, closed account. Their executive office sent me a letter in the mail stating not only would they continue to report it, but they would try to get Equifax to reinsert it since it was deleted do to Equifax policy and not because they stopped reporting it. Long story short, I regret contacting Captial One's executive office.
  8. Here's my problem. Experian refuses to delete anything. My credit reports from Equifax and TransUnion are clean with scores around 714. Experian is 670. The major problem is Experian shows 2 unpaid judgments and 5 charged off accounts. I was immediately denied for a mortgage based on the judgments from Experian and was supposed to get that taken care of, and then reply back to the mortgage company. Experian is refusing to delete. Everything I have tried comes back as verified. I am pretty confident they aren't even verifying anything as most of their responses never mention the dispute, and just tell them about their process for disputing. Attorney general complaint to Texas was pointless, California and Minnesota are still pending, but don't promise much. BBB complaint came back as "their system shows they were already verified". I am starting to think I won't be able to get this off anytime soon. Would it be possible to apply for some kind of mortgage to get the house with the 2 credit reports that are clean and 30+% for the down payment? Depending on the house, I could do between 30 to 50% right now.
  9. I have a couple original creditor charge offs and a public record that is gone from TransUnion and Equifax, but not Experian. I sent 623 letters to the original creditors which I got generic replies like identity theft forms and then a "we know nothing about this account due to the age, contact the collection agency" letter from one, and nothing from the other. After disputing the public record, I asked for the method of verification and got the courthouse address. I contacted the courthouse and they said they have no records of Experian every trying to verify. I then sent in a copy of all the letters I sent to the original creditors along with the USPS signed forms saying the letters were delivered. The 623 letters pointed out specifically what was wrong and then asked for documents showing the trade line was reporting correctly. I also included a letter to Experian about how the courthouse, which was the address they claimed they used to verify the public record, had no knowledge of Experian every trying to verify, and the court copy doesn't match what Experian is reporting. I also told Experian that with the letters from the original creditor who claim they can't verify anything due to the age would be proof that the account is reporting wrong since there's no proof that says otherwise. Then I demanded all the accounts be deleted, not re-investigated. Experian replied saying they FCRA doesn't require them to get documents, and I should contact the original creditors. They will not act as a mediator in account disputes. I am guessing they scanned the letters, and sent me a generic reply thinking the letters to the original creditors were actually to them. The public record is keeping me from getting a mortgage. What should I do now?
  10. If you are supposed to stay off the phone when it comes to collection agencies, should you also stay off the phone with the original credit when a reply to a good will email says to call?
  11. I got the same thing with Midland, emailed them to say I consent, but do not want anything with my signature going to Midland. They replied saying that wasn't good enough and closed the dispute.
  12. I have the same problem. I having been sending letters for a pay for vacate deal, but so far, all the responses are generic form letters. It seems like no one actually knows how to vacate the judgment. My best chance seems to be the with actual law firm that sued me, but I haven't had much luck with them either. It's a 5 year old judgment that has never been attempted to be collected on. If I can't get the law firm to vacate, I will likely end up just paying it, and then disputing it hoping that no one cares enough about a paid judgment to keep reporting it. I read threads about people trying to get judgments vacated after being paid since no one benefits from having the judgment, but the courthouse I was sued in is over 800 miles away from where I live. In reality, paying it and then arguing about it will probably be easier, but I have also been trying to settle for less than the full amount.
  13. http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=75067 Post 3 has the CRA letters List the accounts with specific details, like in this thread: http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=313560&st=1300&p=4698554 Here's another sample that lists each account and specific reasons why it's inaccurate: http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=496545
  14. I did when I sent them the dispute. What does that allow me to do now? I am pretty confident they didn't even read the dispute letter.
  15. I disputed a trade line with TransUnion, and they verified it. I then sent a few letters to the address provided where the trade line was allegedly verified. I have gotten enough info from the letters to show that it was never verified. I sent those in to TransUnion and said delete the account based on the fact no one can verify this. They responded as they will not re-investigate because it was already investigated once. How do I get TransUnion not to send me that stupid response, but actually look at the info I sent them?
