Thanks, Sandscrit. I sent a limited C&D stating all calls are inconvient and to only contact me thru the mail. The only numbers they have on file for me are for work and my cell ( I don't have a land line.)

Hi all, Long time no post. I DV'd United Recovery and they responded to the request. Since then they have called three times. Is there a good letter for me to send them? If I'm correct each violation is worth $1,500 to me and that would be more than what I owe the OC. TIA.

I will and thank you! I'm sending out the letter for mediation in the morning. For now, he MUST stay where he is untill this is resolved.

His pediatrician (who has seen him since he was born) agrees with me and supports our decision. She has written a letter stating the same. I kind of figured that's why they don't want mediation. Wouldn't it also put them on the state's (NJ) radar? Overall, our district is really good, I have no complaints on my daughter's education at all.

It's a county school for Autism, public.... but private. We are fortunate to have it available to us here, which is why we want to keep him there. The school takes very low functoning to very high functioning Autism and learning disabiities, He would stay there until he is 21 as well. He is on the higher end, which is why I guess the district is willing to try and take him on.

No, we would not be able to afford to send him on our own. Tuition is about 32,000 a year not including Extended School Year. I have connected with another parent, but their situation is a bit different. They have been in district and were going out in September, as there was no 7th - 12th grade program. They have started a new class this year, and she will be staying in district. So, they don't have as much to stand on as we do.

Does anyone here have any experience with IEP's? My son has Autism and has been going to an out of district school for the past 8 years. This year there is a new Special Ed Administrator that is pulling all the OOD kids back into the district. I like the teacher that will have him, but not the building. It is not secure and he will not have 1:1 aide while at lunch/recess and out of school functions. It is well documented that he is a runner and has aggression and escape issues. The new school is not secure and can't be as secure due to fire safty. I also know that sending him to an OOD school costs the district extra money, but he has made so many advances, money shouldn't (and legally) be a factor. Long story short, I refused to sign the IEP and his case manager suggested mediation and for me to write a letter to the district stating my concerns. I did so, and today received a call from his case manager pushing a "resolution meeting" instead of a mediator from the state. I guess my question is, why would the school NOT want mediation? Is it in my son's best interest to get a mediator? I thank you in advance.

Hmmmmm.... Interesting..... I hadn't thought of that. That would be a VERY interesting twist for the show. Then who do you think is in the space suit? We are going back and forth from a young River Song or The Doctor. I didn't like the ending....cuz now I have to wait River Song? I was thinking that MAYBE she IS the Doctor in the future...not married to him...but she's a future incarnation of him.... THAT would be a neat twist...

She will be missed, she was such a great actress. What did you think of how they ended the show on Saturday? What is your take on River Song? We think she is a time lord and is/was/will be married to The Doctor.

I took my son to a pediatric dentist (for special needs)who wanted to do the entire exam, x-rays, fillings and cleaning in the hospital under sedation. Really? You wont even TRY to do this in the office ? Wanted my copay upfront (understandable) and also wanted a $500 deposit incase the dental and medical wouldn't pay. I then took him to my own dentist who spread it out over 4 appointments and took all the time in the world with him. Explained every tool, let him touch most of the equipment, and just cared about him. When our Dental ins changed and they didn't participate, we kept him there and paid out of pocket. Good luck finding a dentist for your child.

I'm in my mid 30's and got them in Feb of this year. I can't say I've had any negative experiences other than sore teeth for a few days after each adjustment. Eating soft foods helped me with that as well as some Motrin. One word of advice, carry a toothbrush with you. I can't believe all the nooks and crannies lunch can hide in.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I hear there is about 90 minutes that they cut out that will be in the directors cut. There was so much that happened in the 27 episodes that they couldn't cram into the movie, something had to get cut out. I was disappointed in the choice of Uncle Iroh. He did a good job acting, but he wasn't a fluffy old man like in the cartoon.

Please don't tell me that. I've been waiting for more than a year for this movie and had been really excited about it. I'm seeing it tomorrow, and don't think I'm going to be happy.

There it is! Thank you so much!
