I am in exactly the same situation. Word for word. I was wondering the same a couple of days ago and emailed my mortgage company. They said : We are responding to your e-mail about your credit reporting for the home mortgage. I can certainly understand your wanting to get this taken care of in a timely manner and I am happy to assist. When (insert name of mortgage company) originates a loan, credit reporting is stopped for the first 2 billing cycles from the first payment date (October 1, 2012, for your loan) due to Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. The credit reporting agencies may take an additional 30 days to update your credit report. If you require any further assistance, please let us know. We are only an e-mail away and always here to help. Take care, and have a great day. I was starting to worry but I guess it's normal.

I responded to the email from the title company. I stated that the judgement they mentioned was listed as paid on my credit report. I stated that the mortgage rep had just pulled my credit and they were welcome to get a copy from them or to ask them for confirmation. They replied that they would get a copy of the report chase pulled. We'll see what happens. Hopefully I won't be reqiured to vacate the judgement or other courthouse stuff.

I just got an email from the title company that is working with my mortgage company. They are saying that I have a judgement on my record and want to know if I have proof that it has been paid. I think they somehow don't know about my bankruptcy. Is that possible? The mortgage rep pulled my credit while I was on the phone with them. I reaffirmed my mortgage with them and had to redo an automatic withdrawal agreement because of the bankruptcy. On one of the papers I was sent from the mortgage company about the refinance it has a box that refers to having been in bankruptcy and it is checked no. On my credit report, the judgement they are referring to is listed as paid. I guess that's how it gets listed after bankruptcy.?? Any advice on how I should proceed?

I came home yesterday to a Fed-Ex package on my doorstep. It was an offer from my mortgage servicer Chase. They offered me a streamlined refi through the HARP program. No appraisal, all costs paid. 4.25% rate locked. I am at 6.63% now. Just call it said. So I did. The rep said all I had to do was agree and my payment would drop from $900 a month to $700. Is there a downside to this that I am not seeing? Also I am 7 months out of bankruptcy. Seems like a no-brainer but is there a gotcha? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Those who are afraid of germs and wipe off everything will be the first to go when a real germ comes along. A little dirt is a good thing. Also, as a previous poster stated, if you walk in somewhere barefoot or with shoes on, you are still bringing the same germs in from the bottom of your feet / shoes. If your argument is that you are protecting the person from picking up a germ or glass, that should be the shoe wearers choice. If you are worried about picking up something that is only left by barefeet, you wouldn't get it while wearing your bleached shoes anyways.

We have 2 doors, a storm door that you can see through and a standard wooden door the officers claim was open. Both shut and latch. Is a storm door less of a legal "door" or is a door a door? -

Is this the best place to post my story? -
You have all always been very helpful so here goes . . yesterday morning at 4 a.m. the police came to our door looking for a friend of my 12 year old daughter who did not come home. The police knocked on the door for awhile but nobody answered. They then entered our house. They went upstairs and woke up my daughter and started questioning her about her friends whereabouts. The second officer then went downstairs and found my wifes room and woke her up. The officers then told my wife they smelled alcohol on her breath and demanded that she take a breathalizer test. For whatever reason this cop was in a bad mood. The cop then stated that he was calling child protective services because the house was messy. I have 5 kids and it's summertime, give me a break. The officer called CPS. The CPS worker stated that we all had to take drug tests. No drugs or signs of drugs or indication of drug use was present. The police had walked around the house while everyone was sleeping, if there was something to see they had plenty of opportunity. .My main questions are . . is your front door being open (screen door shut) a legal invitation to the police to enter without a warrant? Can the police demand a breathalizer test in your home after they wake you up? If it was an illegal entry, is the calling of CPS after the entry "poison fruit" so to speak? Kind of like when they find drugs in an illegal search? Any advice on where I can get any info? I have refused to cooperate with the CPS people which is probably a mistake. I just don't feel like what's been done is right and I want to fight them. I just need to know if I am in the right about the illegal entry. Does it matter when the cops come to your door if it is open or not? If they knock then that infers the need for an invitation. Please help. This situation is down right unamerican. If anybody knows a good attorney in the nw georgia / chattanooga area please let me know. Thank you all.

I had a bad experience with them and go out of my way to discourage others from using their service whenever possible.

If I remember right. my orchard secured took 20 months of perfect history before it unsecured. My card was a lower limit card but I don't think it would matter.
