I would like to know if anyone of these accounts had already fallen off your credit reports after the 7yr sol and then where reinserted? I am almost to the point in the next year that all will fall off. I have never applied for a mortgage before. But in the next 2 years I want to.

I do know that a partial payment does restart the SOL clock here. I have been told that I would have to prove when I made my last payment should I get dragged into court.

Ok ...thank you so much. It is hard to tell in this state when the default date would be I guess. I have been told last payment, 30 days after last payment was due and not made, and whatever the OC original paperwork says (these all from attorneys). This is in my case for credit card debt.

Does anyone know what is the definition of "after the cause of action has accrued" ? Here is the whole paragraph: Washington State RCW 4.16.005 Commencement of actions. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, and except when in special cases a different limitation is prescribed by a statute not contained in this chapter, actions can only be commenced within the periods provided in this chapter after the cause of action has accrued.
