  2. If it is removed due to a CRA dispute, the CRA must send you some type of reinsertion notification within 5 days of reinsertion. As for the CA, it sounds like they are trying to CYA when the decide to re-report. Maybe one of the vets can be of more assistance as to what you can do since the TL is within SOL and your DV was outside of 30 days. Good luck!
  3. I haven't heard of them. a quick google search turned up nothing. LOL @ Where should I serve you for the FDCPA violations? Click...... WTG!
  4. funny it was
  5. Same experience here. I got the card for rebuilding. They will not give me an increase at all. It will get closed sooner or later. I let it age since there is no AF. I'm trying to determine the best time to close. eta: Once it is closed, i will not reapply for a higher limit with this bank.
  6. there is a good thread about OC furnishers and what to do next. the link is in my siggy. it is a good read for tackling OCs

loan approval, new card, new salary wow! congrats!
  9. FYI- the rep asked me if I wanted to "apply" for the Target visa upgrade this past saturday. I don't want it the hard way, so I declined. She said that was fine and I could save it until next time. I'm not sure if I will be asked everytime I use my Redcard, but I'd rather have auto than the hard way right now. opened card 1/08 $200 limit pif as soon as the charges post
  10. +1 I just got a outfit for $3 by using the coupons and cardholder discounts.
  11. something else i found Yes. Anytime its free its 45 days. Thats not true, its only 45 days if disputing information from the free annual credit report. Disputing from a report that came from an adverse action is allowed no more than 30 days to investigate.
  12. using seach keywords +verification +method yielded many results. There's some good info in these threads, but don't forget to read the FCRA also. Understanding what you are doing when writing your letters is a must. Good luck. http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?a...ation+%2Bmethod
  13. using FACTA for 2 weeks is basically what Jack said. Disputing from a free report due to FACTA gives them 45 days to resolve disputes. When you dispute from a report you paid money to get, they have 30 days to resolve disputes.
  14. I was one of those people. I wish I had thought of more 'long term' goals from the beginning. Getting approvals was a great feeling, at the time. It still feels good, but having a good card that may have some longevity would definitely feel better in the long run.
