The rep is wrong, I have had a PNC secured since late last year and it reports to all three CRAs.

Yeah, Asset is on my reports, and they are reporting the account as open with lates also. DV'd twice and no response. Filed a complaint with MI BBB, they refered me to the MI AG. Just filed my complaint with them, so we'll se what happens.

DV Trident, CMRRR. Do not sign the letter. Do not give them your SSN. Agreed, I did this with another company that must work for Columbia House. They send a letter stating that they could not find the account, so I am sending out a letter informing them that they need to delete the TL.

I am thinking about doing this with Asset for at least three accounts, they also have 120 day lates listed. Was wondering if you send this letter out, won't they just correct this information and leave it at that, or do you still have a case against them.

I have never understood the desire to lease. My relative went through this some years ago. They leased a BMW, paid perfectly for 3 years and then asked to buy. When they heard the payoff price they were floored. Later they said to me, damn I could have just paid extra each month and had the car paid off earlier than 3 years. Their reason for leasing was that they weren't sure that they would like the BMW. I was like it doesn't take 3 years to know if you like a car, just an extra long test drive will do.

Did you try calling Macy's, just go to their website and use the contact number. You might also want to write a letter explaining the situation using the address listed on your CR.

Yeah, Experian is really quick. My BBRZ just reported as well and I forgot about the end of the month reporting. Guess I will just have to pay it down and put it away for awhile.

I also have heard that you have to reapply and get a different account number. I thought the limit was $5K (not that I'm putting that much in).

Wow, everything is so fresh and new. With HSBC you might try an 623 letter but they will send back a form letter confirming the account. The others...it all depends how brave you are. I sent a 1st DV letter out to an account dated 04/2010, BUT they never sent a dunning letter and I don't know how they came up with the amount, soooo I want to see documentation. Did you not receive dunning letters and respond? Because that is my new mantra, someone sends a dunning letter, within 2 weeks I am sending CMRR out to counteract. I DO NOT want new CAs on my report.

If you look in the credit pulls database you will see that quite a few dealerships pull TU (Honda, Toyota, etc.).

Congrats on the deletes. I just sent a 2nd DV to Asset with copies of my 1st DV and green card. They are doing the same thing, reporting 120 lates, open account, etc. I will dispute again and then if they verify file complaints with the BBB, ACA, and AG in my state and theirs.

You might want to contact National City to find out to unsecure your card.

You might have to end up taking them to court. I am going through the BBB for a complaint against Meade & Associates, we were going back and forth on whether a letter was received. Finally, I said resend the letter but I also said that I have them on violations (several) and will probably sue them in the future. I have a Midland CA that I am just getting ready to send a DV on and they have the account listed as 1 month term with lates, which is not correct. So, again you might have to get your paperwork together (green cards, CRA verification of account, etc.) and send out an ITS letter.
