I'm an F! No loans. No mortgage. No car payment. Zilch. Shoot. No mix at all. AND I just blew a couple inquiries with my bank, but got a very nice 0% balance transfer and limit at their invitation, so... Be-Bob-a-lu-la still wins...

I've had Vonage for 6 months - no pull either hard or soft.

Both a hard pull AND a CLD. Lot of use, never late. Called them and they said my change in payment pattern from PIF to carrying a balance (very small balance) was the trigger. Will talk to exec office on Monday.

what is bed credit? I think I need some... (good post, though I tend to be way more trusting)

+1 Used to have the NM card, but switched to the BG card, but the discounts are the same at both stores. The AXP rewards are nice if spending a large amount.

does neimans take the revolution? AMEX/Neiman's card, cash or check... They also take the Bergdorf Goodman card and Bergdorfs takes NM card. Same same.

made a big mistake... applied for wrong card, what can i do?

I did that with Associated as well. I immediately called to withdraw my app and they were great about doing it immediately and confirmed it while I was on the phone. They were great about it! -
Wondered why they were offline for a little while this afternoon. That is a very slick new interface. They have, however, again wiped out some personal info that needs to be on there. It was there this morning... I'll be curious to hear outcomes of anyone using this new online system - just as a test, of course...

I know Hege and others are real fans of Partners First and justifiably so, but they may have gotten in when the getting was good. I applied and was instantly approved in mid-October. When card arrived, CL was only 5K - significantly below my highest lines. While I do have a bunch of new accounts, my oldest are 23 years, average age about 10 years, no inquiries, no baddies, 0-1% util, FICO 780+ etc. etc. When I called to activate I asked about the low CL and the CSR did mention current conditions... So, a YMMV caveat for those going after one of the Partners' products - the giddy days may be subdued for a while.

I would guess that you have read this recent thread? http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?s...=366445&hl= In any case, they have now gone to monthly pulls for new customers and are seemingly trying to weed out customers who are under the older daily plan. I can't help but wonder if they'll eliminate the service altogether as they cut back on their offerings and retrench...

Doesn't that depend on whether you take the blue or red pill? I'll take the rose-colored one, thanks... But Wow... Might explain why the Chase underwriter I spoke with the other day sounded so pained as she tried to explain why she couldn't approve a business app for one of my companies - long history, top scores, etc. She was distressed and all she could say in the end was "I'm really sorry...."

Why do I get this flashback of R2D2 playing a holographic message? Because someone once referred to you on here as "Obi Wang KeBobi"? That would be me... Young Master Wang is sensitive.... I'll call him Grashopper now... though i was fond of boobala... iou2: Back in the day when CCT allowed 5 pulls, time between pulls might have been a factor. Now that everyone is only once a day, I don't think it matters. I have separate IDs for all TUs, so I can't speak to the issue of using the same ID. I just pull all the services one after another, and my results from November and back in September are below: BTW, I just noticed something interesting, Equifax choppage seems to leave twice as many softs on CS and CCT, compared to ChIDP, MPM, NCID and T +1 usually. Except the most recent c* on the 19th which wiped out virtually everything equally. Sigh. Was at 0, then invited 3 guests to take a look around and one crasher snuck in as well and now they won't leave. Had been 152 and now down to a little over 70. The grounds are getting pruned 2x a month now. A little overzealous it would seem...

All my Georgia reps have gone home, but I still have a delegate from Pennsylvania who refuses to give it up. Atlanta clear cuts my land on the 15th and I found that if I get caught peeking through the backdoor in the Keystone state, they punish me by extensive landscaping.

From their website: "You have the right to cancel your membership at any time, by contacting us at 1-888-217-0291 and receive a full refund for the most recent billed membership fee." The CSR did confirm the full refund, so that, at least, is something...
