Chuck and Merrill...I'm sure the CLD is due to UTI. On total lines available I'm at 45%. Too high in this climate and any other....

FIA just lowered CLs on two cards citing sufficient CLs available on other cards. Any one else get this from FIA. I know this is becoming common place with some card issuers but I had not heard anything regarding FIA up to this point.

I received a CLD a few days ago. They had already done an increase 6 months ago because I had a mortgage with Countrywide. Countrywide is now owned by BOA. This time they said something about a recent credit report review. No baddies, but I guess I have been using my credit cards more. However, I wasn't using the Amex recently...

With the way the credit markets have been lately, I have had a CLD from Chase and my account closed with RBS because I never had a balance or used it. 15K in available credit gone. I have Navy Fed, Pentagon and aPersonal Lines of Credit with Air Force CU and Justice and I'm just wondering am I going to loose those available lines? I paid off the line of credit with AIr Force a year ago and Justice's line of credit for 5K has never been used. I've had Justice for over a year. Can anyone comment on this?

Can Citibank report to the CB you were late if you missed the due date by 1 day? I was charged a late fee for missing my due date on my Visa by 1 day. I'm concerned they'll report me as late to the CB.

Amex CLD me from 25K to 5K. I only owed about 1K on the card. In the letter it said it was because I had a high risk lender for my mortgage. I'm with Countrywide, which was one of the largest mortgage providers before BOA bought them. My mortgage is a fixed 5.5%. I was PO too. I just don't use them much anymore. Navy Fed and Pen Fed treat me better with the same high CL.

They said I have shown a rapid increase in my credit card debt. Not theirs, my other cards. I did a kitchen remodel that took me almost 2 months. 20K. I explained the reason for the increase. Explained I will have paid off 12K with my upcoming bonus already earned, that I will receive in December. No go. They decreased me to within 300 of my balance. GREAT! Now I can expect my FICO to drop even more....

I am about 3 weeks shy of exactly 180 days. Will they consider a CL increase. The rep told me to call back on Tuesday. The account was opened 1/23/08. When customer service tried yesterday, she said the computer didn't decline, it just said not enough time. Has anyone recently been increased just short of 6 months?

Late credit card payment on DCU credit union visa...
wfwilliams replied to wfwilliams's topic in Credit Forum
They are not open. I tried that. I could just kick myself. The balance is less than 13 dollars and I hate to mess up my record with the CU. The one time I use the card. The first payment will be late... -
I went out of town and forgot to pay my Visa which is due tomorrow, the 15th, at a credit union I have a visa with. I just looked at my Quicken software at 5:00 P.M. today. Too late to catch any credit union open for shared branching. I never use the visa and a month ago I figured I should put something on it so it won't get closed for non-use being I've had it over a year. Being tomorrow is a Sunday, I can't pay it till Monday and the statement says the due date is the 15th. This is going to be my only late payment because I have never used to card prior to now. The balance is a total of $12.76. Is it going to really hit my FICO score hard having this late payment?

Finally got my direct deposit today. Took long enough. Buying gas this week was painful without it!!

I had a CC with RBS for a year. Never used it. 10K credit line. They closed it for non use. I asked for it to be reinstated. They said no, I would have to reapply. So of course I reapply and am denied for insufficient credit history. My oldest card is 18 years old. The rest of my CC are less than 2 years. How are they with recons and does anyone have a number?

I was CLD on three cards. On one card, went from 25K to 5K, the next 25K to $1500 and the last, 10K to $1500. When I called, the first rep said I had my mortgage with a high risk lender, Countrywide. What?? The second rep said changes in my EX CR. Absolutely nothing changed. They said they will review in 6 months. Bastards!! Never late, barely used. I got a USAA Amex. I will pay the small balances on the original Amexes and sockdrawer them. What really made me mad was the no warning. I used one of the cards earlier that day. What if I had spent more. It would have declined and I would not have known why...
