Are they phasing out the BP card or the BP Visa? If they are phasing out the BP Visa what happens to my account? Should I transfer the CL to one of my other Chase cards if they are to close? A few years back I had a phased out card and Chase converted it to one of their basic Chase cards automatically. You may want to call to find out.

I would go after the factoring company entry in the one. I sometimes think TU knows its a violation but lets it stand until you dispute it. Got several off of my Mom's report by doing a factoring company dispute. Look for the factoring company thread. Very informative.

I don't think its going to be implemented for awhile either. Portions of the country are already hurting because of the housing crisis. I can just see the ratejacking that would happen when scores start going down because of the new formula.

She only had RJM on her report. I disputed the account within a couple weeks of receiving the delete letter. I think they said in the letter they would delete in 45 days.

RJM picked up an overdrawn account my mom had from 2004 too. Because she wanted it to just go away, we did a PFD with them for a little less than half of what was owed on the original Wachovia account.
