My mother, brother and friend opened a checking at TD bank who all have a WELL DOCUMENTED CHEX HISTORY (As recent as going to other banks 10 mins before and getting denied from being on chex). Not sure what states TD is in but I believe New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland & Maybe Pennsylvania!
-
Yes! Glad i'm not the only one who has experienced the 'denied for chex look' lol, I always pull the "OMG I just have no idea how this got there, I paid them off ages ago is there any phone number to contact this agency to dispute this?!?! Okay, and as soon as I do I will be back to open my account, thank you!"

Aarons Rental Reports To All 3 Beaurus Monthly!
andy2003si replied to andy2003si's topic in Credit Forum
As the person posted before me, and my main post says at the beginning it posts under installment accounts, it's not under revolving because it goes on your report AFTER the account is closed / paid off or maybe both? -
I was charged with retail theft but then plead non-guilty, and won, but yet checked my background criminal report because I was hired for a job they said pending background check and was never called back! So I brought my background check, and for one retail theft was charged against me, theres actually showing 3! #1. Showing the arrest, #2. Showing it was elevated to a higher court and #3. It was dropped (but this is after you open all the little boxes for the details at first glance it looks horrible and on top of that for driving records when I was UNDER 18 years old I have #1. Too fast for conditions, #2. Expired Inspection, #3. Driving without a license, #4. Inelgible for driving without a license !! (I thought all juvenile records are not supposed to show driving or not), then I have current Identity theft & Access device fraud charges that I was approved for the ARD/Pretrial Intervention program for first time offenders which is suppose to seal your records from anyone and their showing as 'continued for court' but again thats only after you open like 2 boxes to see if you were actually convivted, and honestly to someone hiring you I don't think their going to care whether you were guilty or not, if its there its there like the whole 'if u smell smoke, fire can't be far' theory! All of these charges were in pennsylvania, and when I was 18 and 19, (driving was when 17) i'm 23 now an in NJ, is there anyone to get these removed and when I finally do complete my ARD probation and community service time will these records be ENTIRELY erased!?!? UGH, this is crap the whole 'not guilty unless convicted' thing is a total sham now adays if a cop nails u for something I didnt do and u still beat it u still come out looking about just as bad as if you were guilty!! OH and the identity theft and access device fraud the birthdate for me the year says 1967 when it's 20 years off, 1987, can this be fought or maybe jobs wont thiink this is me? Because when I did background checks on me it brought up charges on other ppl and other info on other ppl even when entering direct social!

Aarons Rental Reports To All 3 Beaurus Monthly!
andy2003si replied to andy2003si's topic in Credit Forum
YES! It only reported it a few months after the items were paid off! -
I've known this for a few years though but kept forgetting to post it, but I rented to own an Xbox-360 & A $1500 Dell Desktop and was late many times (even had it repossessed for a week until I came up with the money), anyways a couple of months after I checked all 3 reports and it showed every month paid on time and had the notes "Closed, Never Late, Always on time!"). First off I was surprised that they reported at all, they were the first people that ever reported on my credit and I actually was only a co-signer on the lease agreement and was under 18 or 18, as my parents paid the payments. But I know alot of people will buy anything from anyone JUST BECAUSE they report (like the expensive online jewelery stores that let you pay on it, but your down payment is about it cost lol). But Aaron's will rent to anyone with providable income and you don't have to get anything expensive, (An Xbox 360 or PS3 is only about $40 monthly / Probably about $45-$50 /Monthly after taxes and all aarons fees for 24 months, great if you want one and don't have the money up front an wanna build your credit, I seen a cheap laptop for $70/Monthly for a year and there's cheaper things like digital and video cameras, just saying if you have bad credit and wanna report something. AND ALSO it shows up under 'Installment Loans' which is the only thing I have under installment loans, my student loans or credit cards don't even fall under that category, and you know how it also is important factor to your credit scores to have different revolving accounts in all different credit categories, so check and see if you have any revolving Installment Loan Accounts.

Short story is if you live in southern or central New Jersey and have a Cape Bank in your area, YOUR APPROVED! No chexsystem report pulls, No Tele-Check report pulls, No Early Warning System Report pulls & They don't even pull Equifax, Experian Or Transunion reports (not even soft pulls, nothing!) all you need is a $50 opening deposit and your set! VERY HAPPY with the bank, especially for the fact i'm on Chex, Early Warning Systems & I think I might even be on TeleCheck! I live near Wildwood, NJ (very southern new jersey), and I went to Sun-Bank to open a checking (told them I might show up on chex) as they had a little sign that says chex-systems verified account opening process, and I did and I asked if there was anybody who would open an account for me in the area (any bank) and the clerk said no if your on chex basically no bank will give me any kind of account; so I drove down a half of a mile to the closest bank 'Cape Bank of NJ' (it's a little local branch of about 10-12 banks in southern NEW Jersey that extends to mid New Jersey (called Cape Bank). So I walked in and asked to open one, sat down in the managers office while she asked for my information, drivers license & social security number, then her constantly clicking and typing away, watching her eyes on the screen (waiting for the weird confused look, and then them saying i'm sorry we can't open an account for you!), but got through the whole application entirely fine, I just needed a $50 opening deposit, but no required minimums, online banking, Online Billpay, Free Direct Deposits, Choice OF: Visa Check Card OR ATM Card (and they can print you out an instant ATM debit card, which actually most point of sale terminals take until you get your debit card in the mail), Free Check/Checkbook, Checking Overdraft Protection (where it can withdrawal it from your savings for a $10 fee). there website is http://www.capebanknj.com ALSO I just pulled my 3 credit reports about a week ago like I do every month and they also did not even pull any reports (hard or soft, NONE!) The only downside I can think of is if you don't get a certain amount direct deposited every month you just pay a small monthly maitenance fee of around $3.99 monthly, and no foreign ATM transactions are free, and outside of the lower half of NJ theres no branches, but eveywhere I go even to places 50 or so miles outside my home i've seen Cape Bank Branches!) However I was still suspicious as I had opened an account or two (or so I thought) with a bank or two, only to try to do some sort of bank activity 2 days later to have someone tell me the account is closed, then refer me to the manager telling me that early warning systems alerted them a day after opening the account and it is closed and a check is being sent with my previous balance that was in the closed account. And why the hell do they call it early warning systems, more like LATE WARNING SYSTEMS lol. But i've bank with them over a month now, no problems at all

TOTALLY Same with me I went to walmart totally not looking for a phone I had a prepaid contract on my moms credit which is horrible so I was looking at phones and I only had like 30 bux on me so I knew there had to be no deposit, tried t-mobile for contract $125 deposit, tried sprint $195 deposit tried them because my aunt claims she has horrible credit and had 0 deposit for 4 lines with at&t/cingular and u know how much they wanted?!?!? $700!!! So Verizon was the only carrier left and since I have fraud alert on my credit reports each company took like a half hour to get the deposit because of the id theft questions they ask u but I wasn't even gunna try Verizon because I know their very strict and have been denied in the past and sent running with my tale between my legs with a giant deposit like for $500+ (same with my parents) but I said hell with it I just put 3 hard inq's on my credit and gave them a shot of course I had to get on the phone to answer the id theft verification questions afterwards the rep on the phone and the salesclerk were talking and i'm not even looking at their plans or phones sitting there waiting for a denial when she says yes sir for one line their will be $0 down today do you still wanna continue? I said heck yes!!! So I went and checked out their phones and their it was a silver blackberry curve 8330 for only $9.99 with the 2 year contract annual rebate and the blackberry internet email package is $49.99 (unlimited usage), and for $29.99 you can connect it to any pc or laptop and use it as a modem and connect to the internet with 5GB of data usage (im on that now because I just had my internet shut off because im moving in 6 days!). Verizon is great with customer service BEST I EVER HAD, their lines and coverage are SPECTACULAR AND MINDBLOWING i've had them for almost a year I added 2 lines also for my parents 6 months ago. My blackberry had an application error and wouldnt dial out and they nextdayed me a brand new phone (the same model as I had but brand new) keep in mind though I do have the top warranty service $5.99 Unlimited Warranty (If it gets stolen, broken, lost smashed etc.) plus the $1.99 extended coverage warranty what this does is extends your factory warranty 2 years so for $7.99 monthly (it's that price for smartphones only and like $3.99 for regular phones), also my mothers phone stopped recieving coverage and her phone is also under the 2 warranties because it's a touch screen smartphone and it was covered under the extended factory warranty and nextdayed her a brand new phone my dad dosen't have a warranty he has a regular flipphone but I still thought it was dumb to thewart the warranty because after 2 months you can no longer get it... And all these months none of us has EVER dropped a call or never could not properly understand someone or what they said OR have never not had a signal (I've never had anything less then 2 out of 6 bars and average 5 bars normally.). One bad thing is you get what you pay for IT IS great service (IE: the phones, the network, the coverage & the customer support) but you get what you pay for and verizon is a bit pricey, however they are SUPER SUPPORTIVE if you run up a bill and need extended payment plans or even just the normal payment plans monthly if you cannot afford it. Because I blocked internet usage on my mothers line and everytime you would try to access the internet it'd say you'd have the wrong password for the dialing code so I put in the default password that all verizon phones use for the internet you set it up to dial #777 and the password to vzw well apparantely "verizon said thats going online and UNBLOCKING the internet service, when to block it originally I had to get on my pc goto vzw.com, set it up that I didnt want no internet package so it'd be pay per kb which would be free since it was supposed to be blocked I even called and the rep blocked it for me I couldn't even block it myself through the admin web features but entering a password they said "I went online and removed the block on my pc, which is totally false all I did was enter the default internet password because your still supposed to get the verizon web menu free" so my mom ended up using the internet and using $370 + $32 in ringtones and applications I begged and pleaded if they could do a onetime removal PLEASE after talking to multiple supervisors they finally offered me a 'solution' they said they would give me a one time %15 off of the $360 internet date usage removal waiver fora measly $18.00. So last month my balance went up to $700 some since last month i've been having to make 5 bi-weekly payments of $140 ($700 for all the payments totalled) and once that is paid off I have one more payment on the 13th of this month but then I have 2 bills at $230 each per month for 3 lines (its pricey now because im using navigation and the internet package) but once I finish paying off that i'll have to make some payment arrangments to pay off my 2 bills, but they usually don't put your monthly bill past due until like a week or less before your next bill (because with verizon they make you pay one month in advance so even though on the 4th of next month and I didn't pay januaries bill yet in february I would only be past due for the january bill until like feb 20th or so (it's only tech right since u do pay a month in advance!). So sorry for the long post but make sure for your children I recommend getting the "safeguard feature" it's $5.00 monthly per line you can block 20 numbers, you can limit data usage, limit text usage, limit minute usage even set it so they may only call so and so numbers that are approved, and for those who won't be using the net or anything like that have the net blocked, app downloads and ringtone downloads blocked, 411 blocked and if they dont text block texting as well all the blocks are FREE keep that in mind and for someone not using the internet it's better to just block it because especially with a new phone they can easily wonder into the internet and even novice users find it hard to tell what is actually the free verizon internet pages and the ones that you'll be paying by KB for and believe me it can add up!! (almost $400 in one month)

What would make you have a potentially higher score keep in mind the account is exactly the same except one has a $300 limit and 90% is being used, but lets say that card was given a raise to a $600 limit the next month and again 90% is still being used. Which one hypothetically would you have a higher score with keep in mind the account has excellent payment history and never missed a payment...
-
Thank you all and man I hope I see a 60 some point increase, honestly i'd be happy with like 25+ but not gunna jinx it the higher the better heh; now I just need to keep baddies off and now that my report is getting better and cleaner truth be told the more the baddies try and hit you especially because they know you'll pay them now because you care what effects your report.

I've always liked Visa more if any of you remember those television commercials like 3-5 years back that said the big top awards (I forgot which ones) only accept visa ONLY so after that i've been more of a Visa man plus the fact I see more Mastercards then I do Visa Also; like Dollar General only accepts Visa and Discover (i'll never understand the discover part lol because alot more people have mastercards then discover cards) and like someone else said I think it's the logo that does it for me too lol
-
I just recieved a letter from plains commerce bank about a total visa card I opened then had it closed and reported as a collection but I was a minor and sent them a letter stating I wasn't adult age and have no knowledge of account, but they sent me a letter saying the account will be completely deleted/removed off Experian,Equifax & Transunion in 30-90 days & it's for $396.00! Also I sent a hand written letter about a bank account that was opened also as a minor and stated that and that I also have no knowledge of this account, I sent the letter in november didn't get a response (it was actually hand written lol because I was out of ink at that time) so I called the collection agency telling them about how I have no knowledge and it was opened before my 18th birthday and the rep said they actually ARE in the process of deletion/removal from all 3 credit reports and the reason being because they recieved my letter regarding everything so that is my last chargeoff it's only reported to TransUnion and Equifax and same with the previous collection but still and this chargeoff is for $598 so in 90 days I will have one collection for $396 removed and one for $598 totalling almost $1000 in collections being removed and the fact that there will be absolutely no baddies / negative accounts towards me! This is so great because I see people with scores in the 700's with a few baddies so I can imagine the potential with no negative deragaory accounts!! O Anyone have an eta of how much my TU and EQ scores will go up after these 2 baddies are removed?! And one other thing the bank account that was closed due to almost 600 dollars being overdrawn will this account also be deleted off chexsystems and if not how do I go about getting that straightened out? P.S. Thnx credit boards for all your help a year ago I had 8 or 9 baddies and now going to ZERO!

Like I said: YMMV, its up to each individual to decide, and time will tell. Maybe it will be an issue, maybe it won't. The fact is there is ample evidence (i.e. the link I have you to EXPERIAN) that it could be. I can promise you with no shadow of doubt, that AMEX will not look favorably upon it, they have canceled cards for people shopping at Wal-Mart, used tire centers, etc. (google it), you can bet Aaron's would be frowned upon. Why risk it when there are options? I would only add that a VERY BIG part of credit repair, is controlling spending. Instead of getting a new couch at Aaron's (and paying 3X its value over time) try a garage sale and pay cash. Then take the money you would have been paying Aarons, save it and open a secured card and/or share secured loan. Many cards can be opened with $300 - $500. If you were going to be making payments to Aarons of $65 bi-weekly, it will only take you 2.5 - 4 months to have enough money to open a secured card. Further with many secured cards (NFCU, and LFCU off hand) you earn interest on your money while it is securing your credit card, so as long as you PIF you are making money, not to mention possible rewards (NFCU). Further, there is never to chance that you will be questioned by an underwriter about a VISA account with NFCU. Check out this post from all the way back in 2006, Equifax told this poster: I totally DO understand your logic but lets say your broke going paycheck to paycheck and you have no money for xmas and your son wants a brand new xbox or ps3 for xmas or a birthday present but you can't afford $400 up front but you can manage $99 for 6 months there you go making your kid happy with a BRAND NEW game console they wanted and they never dreamed they'd actually get one and a new one at that and they don't know your paying it off and they don't have to know either of course this assuming you can keep up with the payments. But by the way i've have had not the monthly payment at due dates plenty of times and they really work with you utilizing short term payment arrangments instead of repossesing the items that could be 90% paid off and then sell it for 75% of the price of a new one and truthfully that would be great business and a great way to make money but their not like that AT ALL i've only once had my xbox 360 console taken and held til the payment is made for awhile I was late 2 bi weekly payments but a week later when I paid to current they gave it right back. And also if you think Aaron's has high prices try Rent-A-Center or Majik Rental and yes it is actually spelled Majik, for example for an xbox arcade 360 console with a buy it now anywhere price at $399 they want like $42 with taxes a week for 14 months or longer!!!
