Raising my FICO score! Goal of 800+ FICO score eventually.

Otherwise watching sports, playing video games, general computer stuff fixing and upgrading. Watching Hip/Hop music videos too.
1. Did you apply for both credit lines on one app? I am looking for a LoC and Penfed has become a bit of a white whale for me. I tried twice to get a card with them unsuccessfully. I was looking at local credit unions, but I figured I'd give Penfed another try and maybe score the Promise card and a LoC.
2. I understand that, but I had them change it. Yet they can't get anything right. This is why you don't use 2 addresses to begin with. Like I said, it's classic fraud prevention. In fact, you probably set off even more red flags by having your address updated... Well I apologize for trying to convenience myself. Both of my addresses are on my credit report anyhow. I did the same thing when I applied for my Dell PA, they didn't have an issue then, so I figured I could do it again.
3. I understand that, but I had them change it. Yet they can't get anything right.
4. So, I was making a large purchase from Newegg and noticed the no payments until October 2009 offer for the Newegg preferred account. I usually don't take advantage of these offers because I pay them off, but hey no payments for a year would be nice. Anyhow I applied and got an instant approval for $4000. So I proceed with my purchase and wait for my confirmation e-mails and it got declined. So I talk to Newegg and they say it is a CIT issue. I call them and they say well your billing address is different so the system declined it. I use my home address while I am away at college to keep my bills at one central location. Whatever, so I agree to change my billing address and go to try again. Declined again. I call back and they say, well something is wrong but yet they have no idea what. Nice system huh. So, I put in a work order and I am told to call back the next day if it isn't fixed by tomorrow. So I try again today - declined big surprise. I called and they said it could take 10 to 15 days for them to fix it. WTF! Are you serious? So I just canceled it because I have had enough of their crap and I can't wait 10 to 15 days because there are deadlines on the rebates. I never had any issues with my Dell preferred account from CIT. What a joke company. I bet AMEX doesn't decline my purchase. Almost made it a year without a new inquiry, it's a shame I had to waste it on CIT.
5. My university gives me sticks of dynamite to blow huge holes that I gladly tumble into.
6. Work long hours, then hit the gym right after work. After spending 12 or more hours outside of the house each day you will be too exhausted to buy anything. And stay off the Internet because it is far too easy to click and buy stuff.
7. it is not a credit card ok then what is it? A line of credit? No you have to pay it off at the end of the month, it's a charge card like the Green, Gold and Platinum..
8. I'd just like the income and spending ability to get a Black Card. Maybe one day!
9. Why do you want to call it something it isn't? Is that magically going to turn things around?
10. When I did mine I wanted to convert to the BOA Signature card which requires at least $5000. I had one at $1000 and one at $4000 and I just explained I wanted to combine them so I could convert. Just call them up and explain that you want to consolidate your limits to one card for whatever reason and they will.
11. They moved my entire limit.
12. Yes, I've done it before. Very easy process.
13. Old site for me. I wish they would allow me to add my Flex line to my online account, I might actually use it. No luv for me neither, I think I met my max when I consolidated my accounts last year.
14. you sound like a certain micro economics professor I've had.
15. We aren't even in a recession as we are posting positive GDP growth. Get a grip.
