  1. I have used quicken recently. I would have to say the experience was wonderful. They respond quick to any questions and close the loans in half the time previous quoted by NFCU and USAA. Also the rate very low and closing fees were not as high.
  2. I use USAA for all deposit accounts and navy fcu for loans and credit cards. Navy is fast on approvals and geting funds to you. Where usaa drags there feet. This is my experience. So both are great in there own way. USAA has a better setup for investments and checking
  3. Navy FCU seny out new credit agreement via e statement or paper. In here stated that this was a option they may excercise. I spoke with rep and they confirmed but stated that would need to be a major change in customer credit scoring & they also advise the change in cash advance rate+2%
  4. Message from NAVY " Navy Federal is currently researching the possibility of joining the CO-OP Network deposit-taking program. As this project is still in the initial planning stages, we are unable to provide specific details at this time. We will make an announcement once this project is completed."
  5. 711 is an option that will be available. But aside from that they are also doing a remote capture like usaa DEPOSIT@HOME option. I just dont have alot of details. How long does it take when you mail a deposit?
  6. I was advised that navy was going to offer remote deposits. Does anyone know of a date on this ? I spoke with member service and they confirmed but unable to give a date.
  7. I have been with them for 15 years. Mastercard - 25k Visa - 32k nav - 10k auto-50k auto2-25k personal loan-7k total-149k

    NFCU Loan

If you don't mind me asking what where your scores when you applied for NFCU Credit cards
  12. I would use NFCU if you can ............... New Car Loan up to 36 mos.............3.50% 37 to 72 mos.............5.00% 73 to 84 mos.............6.50% 85 to 96 mos.............7.00% Used Vehicle up to 36 mos............4.25% 37 to 72 mos............5.50%
  13. USAA uses fico. But they also use something called RISK FACTOR. This takes pymt data from your creditors for the last 2 years creates a payment pattern. Example ... CC utl and how you pay bills etc So they have 2 guidelines - FICO - RISK FACTOR (0-500) lowest number being the best They then give you an adjusted score based upon both and give you a new score ... Risk Modeling ----
  14. How do they give funds for purchase ? Do they mail you a check or just deposit in your account . ?? never done this with out going into the bank ..
  15. I Just called and was advised non- affil members can apply for mortgages and eq lines - same rates
