I went to the site after reading this but received a false approval. I put in my information for a Black Belt card and received a TOO quick approved message: Congratulations! You have been approved. You will receive your credit card in the mail within 10 days. If you have immediate questions, please call our Customer Service department at 1-866-450-1402 anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I called customer service to find out the approval amount and was told that the application was pending at that this was an error message from their site. EQ score 700

I called Best Buy credit services but I don't think the CSR understood what I was asking. I want a lower rate and my credit has improved since getting the card. My balances are also down. I would like to know if I can re-apply without canceling the old card first or do I need to close the Tier B card and then re-apply?

I am so livid right now!! My lawyer just called because he received an email for the bank’s lawyer advising that the bank is working on the judgment. They cannot provide a date that this will be resolved and all of their properties in NJ are being affected. Apparently there is a judgment against Indy Mack by Deutsche Bank. I have shelled out $2950 for a house that I do not own yet…if anything is refundable it would only be $1450 which I still would have to pay the lawyer for his time. Here they were rushing my mortgage company to move it along (which they did) and they are holding up the process. I have to find a place to stay soon because the house I am renting is under contract. How on earth could they try to sale houses that legally they could not??

I have my final approval and we were scheduled to close on 6/12, however; the title search found a $90,000 lien on the house. I am just finding out myself and it seems everyone was keeping this from me while my attorney was working on it. I am being told it is no big deal but $90,000 sounds like a big deal when I am only buying the house for $73,000. The Mortgage rep didn’t tell me what kind of lien only that it was a bank. I have no idea how this is going to work out. The property is bank owned

I expected to close 6/12 but the rep working on my loan worries me. My original Rep whom I love went on vacation May 10 in Honduras and he has been missing every since. He was last seen on a boat but they haven’t located the boat or him. The property is bank owned and the closing was originally scheduled for 5/29 – I applied for the C/O and the city is scheduled to come out 6/2. The appraisal and inspection were completed on 5/12. I went into the mortgage office on 5/12 and signed all of the p/w and I received the Good Faith Estimate package 5/26. I talked to my “Sub†rep who stated he wouldn’t have the final approval until “maybe†Tuesday. I was looking towards 6/12 because the new owners of the house I am living in are expected to move in July. He said not to worry but the changing of the date concerns me.

I was wondering how likely a person would be denied for a HELOC I am purchasing a bank owned home using FHA’s 203 K mortgage (5.50)…I am currently at the mortgage amount that I am comfortable with but I need additional monies for improvement such as waterproofing the basement. I would much rather use a HELOC (my bank rate start at 4.85) than increasing my mortgage. I am concerned that I won’t take the additional money through the 203K and end up being denied for the HELOC Per Chase the house is valued at 192,000 and the purchase price is 70,000 My scores went down due to an incorrect reporting showing I am 120 days late on an acct that was actually paid off and I was never late My scores are 647, 689 & 655
