  1. AWESOME! On that right now. Will keep you all updated. What a bunch of rockstars! Thanks.
  2. Hey there! It was never reported as a judgement it was listed as a tradeline forever then once it was removed as a tradeline they have NOW begun reporting it as a judgement which I suppose they obtained in 2009. I wasn't served but that is what is on the CBR so it must be a default judgement. It is 20K and the last activity it could possibly be is 2005. So it was outside of SOL for IL when they got it I am sure but we all know they rubber stamp that stuff. They say it was in county court but I have to just go get the file so I can see it.
  3. Hey folks! Got a question for the gurus. I had a collection account AGES ago from Unifund that WAS reporting as a trade line until they were purged after 7 years. Now they are reporting (new entry) as a judgment from 2009 a the original creditor. Wondering how I should go after that. They obtained a judgment I imagine on maybe Chase or whomever (wasn't served) but they were removed for dates and factoring company and I guess this is their attempt to poison my report. Since I probably can't reopen the judgment at this point how should they be reporting and how should I go about disputing them? They are literally my only negative and I will NOT be paying them a nickle. Thoughts? Divine Diva

  6. Hey Hottie Mc Hot Stuff! I think I may just have to fire that off today. They kill me!
  7. Old addresses wasn't the issue at all. They literally just didn't do it. It was like, "hmmm I think I'll pick these two to work today. To heck with the other two." I wonder if they are hiring, I could use a job where I decided day to day if I will do it or not...
  8. Hey all! Long time no see and BOY has this place grown. So proud of the work done here and proud to say I was here in the early days. Any-who...I am sooooo annoyed! So I send a dispute to Equifax got my card back and their clock starts. I follow up today to learn that of the 5 things I disputed they removed TWO and NEVER investigated the other three! How does that work? So when I speak to a supervisor she pulls my original letter and says "oops that was our mistake and we can reinvestigate it.". WTF? So now they want me to give them ANOTHER 30 days because all they do is start disputes. I am so mad I can't see straight. Has anyone else ever had this happen? They are INSANE!
  9. Ok I have to know. Can I get the info via PM as well? Thank you so very much!
  10. Anyone have any recommendations for a good real estate attorney in Chicago? PM me I may have someone to refer you to if you still need a Chicago attny for tila/respa.
  11. First and foremost, are you in a judicial or a non-judicial foreclosure state? If a judicial state, get a copy of the foreclosure file from the court and VERIFY STANDING for Home Eq and Deutsche they are both notorious for not having the note. And in turn not having the right to foreclose.
  12. In the post 9/11 times in which we live, there is very little you can do to circumvent the identification requirements of a mortgage so he would be asking for trouble to even try it. He needs to spend time reading and learning on the Credit boards credit forums to get that 500 up to be able to get what he is trying to do done. Good luck.
  13. EXCELLENT article! This is what I mean. By standing up and questioning we can stem the tide of rubber stamping these foreclosres. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO FIGHT IS AVAILABLE TO YOU! Thanks for posting this...
  14. If you can pay it you definitely should. You have no idea how long it will take to sell. Are you living in the house? Is your state a judicial or non judicial state? Once you go into foreclosure the designation can hit your reports staying less than two months past due will prevent that althought the 60 day status will be reported.
