Hello all, We lost dad just over a month ago. Now mom is getting massive medical bills in the mail. I don't think she's liable for these but can they come after her house? What if she sells the house to move in with me? That's what her plan is... She can't be home alone. Thanks for any help....I'm searching this site for whatever I can find

We've started BK and gave me paperwork to show the judge on Thursday.

He said he'd give me paperwork, that once I submit to the judge should end any proceedings. Give my a little more time.

Actually feeling better about it after talking with him. If I actually end up going to court ill have representation and it'll be ok.

Meeting with attorney on Monday to discuss. Even mentioned being able to file this week and stopping all this.

I've got nothing that says I need to bring anything to court with me. Just says to call and confirm. Am I supposed to show up with paperwork?

That's what I was thinking..... They have me listed as living at my parents house, that's where this letter was delivered. I have my own home, that you would think they'd have the address to. So should I call the court house? Or should I figure this is another scare tactic.
