Thanks for the welcome. After lurking, and procrastinating for almost two years I'm looking forward to using the information I have obtained here to rid myself of those pesky inaccuracies on my credit report.

I have been registered for about a year and am still a newbie. Please help me understand what I need to do to become a member.

Oooooohhhhhh......I like this game. I'm an E5 in the Army. Have been in almost 10 years ( took many years off and decided to return ). I make around 45-50K before taxes are taken out. I have no state tax (TN ) so I only pay federal, etc taxes I also work part time as a nurse and make around 3600/yr extra (net). Last year I was in Iraq and the entire pay, plus appx 400.00 extra per month was tax free. Next year, I'll be living in HI. Kind of worried about the high Cost of Living, but I do get my housing and COLA.

I found this site through a Personal Finance class at a community college, and am I glad I did!!!! I've only been a member about 2 weeks and have already: Opted out. Ordered all 3 credit reports and my fico scores. Disputed my addresses. I'm looking forward to bringing up my credit scores to at least the mid 700's.
