Thanks for the responses --- Guess I'm behind the times. I've been recovering from cervical spine surgery for the past 4+ months.

Anyone else get the letter from Citi stating that they are closing the HD MC Rewards card? Got my letter today.

AMEX HAS NOT TOUCHED ANY OF MY ACCTS YET thread
Rickyracer replied to Mark LA's topic in Credit Forum
My Green, Blue and Blue Sky are still fully intact. No changes here. -
The "new annual fee" for my merchant acct hit last month. I process thru Card Services International. Nothing to do but eat it on the front end and add the fee to business expenses in order to write it off on taxes.

AMEX Delta Converted to No Fee Card, Same 25K CL
Rickyracer replied to fire3000's topic in Credit Forum
Like the OP, I converted my Gold Delta to a no fee card (BLue Sky) this month. I got to keep the same CL, acct number and history --- no new pull or junk like that either. -
AMEX: You are pre-approved / ACCEPT NOW, Hard Inquiry?
Rickyracer replied to Bam's topic in Credit Forum
Good advice, definately a hard pull. -
I only have 2 Chase cards. I show them love, they show me luv. It's a good relationship. Always has been. I receive good offers from them regularly. My KISS card from Chase has gotten lots of use. I've grown the CL in it to $19k over time. If Chase would back an AC/DC card, I'd get that one for sure.

Thanks folks. Luv from Amex, even if just a bit, is worth sharing.

The annual fee for my Gold Delta card was going to be billed for this month so last month, I called Amex to convert it to Blue Sky. Sure enough on October 15th, the $95 Annual Fee posted to the Delta acct prior to me receiving the new replacement Blue Sky card. I waited a couple more days for the Blue Sky card to come and when it arrived yesterday, I called Amex to get them to take off the already posted annual fee. The CSR was quite friendly, put me on hold just a minute or so to review things and then came back on line saying the annual fee had been credited to the acct. They thanked me for being a good customer and told me to enjoy my new Blue Sky acct. Best of all, I got to keep the same acct number and it's age. Sweet

Alll my GEMB accts are still open, no CLD's here. My oldest GEMB acct (a Care Credit medical card) hasn't been used since late 2005.

Congrats on the CLI. VS is one of my wife's favorite stores.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll just sit tight for now. As for what is a big / small line, it's probably relavent on an individual basis. For me, I consider $5k to be on the smallish side. Again, thanks folks.

I have two open CCs (zero balances on both) with WAMU. I also have two Chase CC, one of which has a balance and one that doesn't. The one that does not have a balance also has a small CL -- just $5k. So I'm thinking of calling Chase and seeing if they'll combine the two Wamu CL's into my Chase card that has the $5k CL. If they'll do it, that new and improved Chase CC would have a $17k line. Is anyone else with both a Wamu and Chase CC thinking similarly? And, has anyone successfully combo'd their old WAMU CC into an existing Chase CC? Thanks in advance.

All tickets for the Charlotte concert were $91.50. With the various fees added to them, final price was $108.

I've had the offer for about a week now.
