  1. Needitnow, I don't understand. What do you mean when you say the rate is so high? The 6% rate? Thanks!
  2. Thanks for all your replies. The advice on this board is so valuable, and appriciated. Thanks again, Tammy
  3. I am not sure if that is correct, it may be a little high. Lets just hope this does not go up. The price just went to 187,500.00. (hubby added a boat shed) soooo, this means what I have already put down will cover the over extra 7,500.00, and now all I have to do is fork out the closing cost which are 8,132.00. Right? Thanks for your reply jaytee. Anyone else have any input? Thanks! Tam

  5. That is what I thought. I asked the broker if there was a problem, and he said no. They had to send my info. to another state and get u/w to do their stuff. I am frustrated. Does anyone know about Irwin Mortgage? I think they are a good company. I used them in the past.

  7. Thank you for the replies. I was hoping to receive my pre-qualification letter by now, but not as of yet. I have sent in all my information, and they have verified employment over the phone, a quick call to my office. I am going VA, and before I applied to them, I sent off for my VA certificate, got that back and sent them a copy with w-2's etc. They called me last week and wanted the original certificate, so I fedexed it to them. Still no letter of pre-approval. Does this normally take this long to get? I mean man this is going on 3 weeks now. Thanks
  8. You guy's are so smart! Thanks!
  9. And is it a bad thing? Trans Union Suppressed an account on my credit report...I don't understand what that means. Thanks!
  10. Woe, I just rehabed with Sally, They deleted the negative tradelines, but had me as late 9 times on my new loan. I am calling them this morning to find out what the deal is. Also, I had a score jump of about 50-60 points when they updated. It took about a month after my rehab was finished for them to update.
  11. Do you think late payments to a mortgage company will fall off before 7 years? I tried the goodwill aproach and it was a no go. Any advise?
  12. I saw it on here once before but I cant find the link.
