  1. I completely understand that. I am just not sure who I should contact. Would it be easier just to post my info here?
  2. I am relocating to KY in a couple of months and would like to purchase a townhouse or condo. From reading numerous postings, I know that there are very knowledgable and helpful brokers on this site. Which ones are licensed in KY so that I may PM my information? Thanks
  3. I would try before I get the card. And, then try luv, purchase, pif then try luv again. It couldn't hurt.
  4. You can actually call before you receive the card. I did that a few months ago with my Delta. I called a couple of days after my online approval and asked if I can be considered for a higher limit. They raised it from 2K to 5.5K, before I got the card.
  5. Couple of weeks ago, I was shopping for an AC at PCRichards. When he entered my info, name, phone etc., it came back that I was preapproved for $2500. I gave him more info, SSN, DL and it came back approved for $2500 in about 1 minute. Used the credit on the spot. They also use GEMB. No hard pull and it was during a 6-month interest free promotion. It may work at other electonics stores. My scores range for 660 - 700. But I was surprised I was approved because of my high utilization.
  6. Okay, I have read until my eyes hurt and I am still confused. Maybe just slow. Here's my story: I went deliquent with FCNB in 96, they charged off my debt in 97. In Oct 03, I rec'd a collection letter from NCFS representing Cap One who bought my old FCNB debt. Stupidly, I settled for less than the full balance. Now FCNB is off my report but, Cap One is reporting as: Date Opened February, 2003 Date of Status December, 2003 Last Payment Date Not on Record Loan Type Credit Card, Terms REV Collateral Description Account paid in full for less than the full balance Is this correct? Does Cap One have the right to report an old debt that they purchased? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
