  1. I just used the link, and you are only buying today's score. Thank you for the discount, wcnghj!
  2. Me, too. But I didn't get a second consideration...yet, anyway. I'm more upset that I spent $25 to join the National PTA.

    Target!

    No increase here yet.
  4. HSBC/Orchard Bank is such a crock. I have had the account for 3 years now and I'm stuck at $500. Even CrapitalOne has given increases, although I find it disturbing that I have 2 cards with them, and instead of increasing the limit on the first one, they approved me for another $300 limit.
  5. I just wanted to say that http://www.shac.net/FINANCIAL/financial_ta...s/columbia.html was really helpful. I emailed CEO Lewis @ BofA and got a response from one of his "minions" a few days later. I just wanted to reiterate what other people have been saying...to keep this working for everybody, make sure that this is an absolute last resort!
  6. I, too, just wanted to show my gratitude and say thank you for posting this info!
  7. To those of you who had charge-offs with BOA, how did you go about getting them to respond? I feel like I have no options, even if I decided to pay in full. After sending 3 CMRRRs, I still can't get them to send me a response letter, bill, or anything.

    BofA Charge off

That would be helpful, thank you. I'm trying to work all my avenues here!

    BofA Charge off

I just sent a letter via PFB. Thanks for reminding me

    BofA Charge off

I have been mailing them to the Phoenix address that shows up on my credit report. I'm assuming that since that's the address that's reporting, that's where my info would be held...
  12. I could be opening a can of worms here, but.... People are so touchy about this issue of deleting inquiries. I have never tried it, so this is pure curiosity, but no one mentioned (to my knowledge) what could actually happen. So, (innocently, or perhaps ignorantly) what's the problem?
  13. Hi guys! Longtime reader/first time poster here. My situation is: I have a charge off from BofA on a Secured Card and the DOLA is reporting as 7/2004. I have read the other posts about OCs charging interest on closed, charged off accounts (CrapOne isn't the only one, y'all) so I understand that part. The problem is, I don't mind paying it off now that I am able to, but I have sent 3 CMRRR letters to BofA in Phoenix over a 6month+ period, and have gotten no response AT ALL. I am trying to maximize the potential benefits of paying off a charge-off, but I can't even get them to respond to my letters. I don't know if the next step is legal action, emailing someone in charge, or what. I need your expertise and opinions. Thanks!
