Having a hard time with a Loan Mod?
gadgetgirl replied to bonbonXO's topic in Foreclosures/Loan Modifications
Looking into forensic loan document audits is always worth it before giving up. It is unbelievable how many violations you can find within your loan documents. (**Former Mortgage loan processor) -
I recently got a part-time job and it is bringing in a little more income (Thank goodness). I decided to try and get a few of my credit cards brought current before they were wrote off. Unbelievable payment arrangements made with BofA and with Chase (Feels so good!) Then I went to the Target website to see what kind of damage there was and right online you are able to work out a payment arrangement. With out talking to anyone. I thought that was a pretty cool feature. By the way, just calling and talking to reps at BofA and Chase, I was able to get $476 knocked off of my debts. They of course were their nonsense fees, but it certainly made my day. The reps that I spoke to were also very nice. I was able to save 3 of my CC today.

I want to see what all of the fuss is about!!! Fix the piccy's!!! -
I felt so good when I got rid of my First Premier card! I was also worried about age when I contemplated closing it out. But the positives of getting rid of it once and for all far outweighed keeping it and keep paying all of those horrible fees and annual fee! I wouldn't recommend that card to anyone. I would strongly suggest a major bank secured card for anyone that needs something to "start with".

Status please....................Anybody get their paper check today???

You could probably be successful, having them waive the fee, by giving them a call again when the fee is due in a year. Doesn't make sense them charging such huge fees when your trying to accumulate points for discounts.

I got 8k CL, no AF. My scores were around 660. It was by far my highest limit. I think at the time, my highest limit that I had was for $1000, carnival sea miles.

Here is the link to the original topic. (regarding whether or not you can have more than one 99/500 at once) http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?s...p;#entry1961219 They cashed my check two days ago and now the account is already showing up on my banking page and my CR. My first 99/500 is a Bank of America Gold Visa and the one that I just opened is the BofA-MBNA US airways. So I guess you can have more than one BofA 99/100 card. Can't wait till these unsecure and start getting CLI's!!!

That is so funny because just last week my husband used his at Lighthouse christian bookstore and on the way out, I told him, "I can't believe you used that card!" It's funny though, I used mine for the down payment for my breast aug. surgery! LOL

Yea, I'm going to send for it and I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

I recently applied for the BofA US Airways WorldPoints Visa card and was given the offer for the 99/500 deal. I already have a 99/500 visa classic gold card that I've had for about 9 months now. My question is if I accept this card, will they decline it even though it says it's "guaranteed acceptance" because I already have a secured card with them? This one says that it is a US Airways, INC. Preferred Visa card and not the Classic Gold. I think I'm going to go for it. Anyone else have an experience like this? Any comments on this would be appreciated!!
