First thing I did was to stop carrying them around with me, that helped with the impulse buys. I do agree that you should make some small purchases here and there so I will usually pay one of the smaller bills like the cable or cell phone with it. It's definitely not easy by any means when you know its there and want to use it. Most importantly I had to take my Hubby's card away and he agreed (thank goodness) while I am not the greatest with money, he is far worse then I am...
