  1. Hey everyone! I am back after years of being out of the credit game and life happening. This new world is going to be hard to navigate but hopefully as I make my way through some credit moves, I can share for all to benefit. MarvBear, Breeze, WhyChat, Radi8 and more I hold fond memories for. Now that my kids are grownish, I am passing on some lessons I learned here and they are even teaching me a few. Don't I miss bumpage with my whole heart, LOL! Anyway, hello and glad to be back. :)
  2. welp, I went ahead and applied for a different personal cc and was declined, lol. I hope that doesn't kill my chances for an auto loan.
  3. I was just approved for a 20K credit card. I am so over the moon that I can't see. I am also a bit greedy, lol. I figured if I can get different lines of credit at the same time on the same inquiry, it might be worth it. Does anyone know if they will decline if I apply for a different credit card as well? I'm wanting to get a car loan with them too. But I want these 2 points to stretch! (FYI, I think I posted this originally in the wrong place so please forgive me for the duplicate.) Thank you!
  4. My business has been registered with the state at least 3 months. I hope that helps me out with these applications. I can definitely give Bank of America a try along with the other two.
  5. I have an investor who is going to use his good credit to help me get my first semi! I am beyond excited. From what I have put together from the business Chase and Amex products are a good place to start. Chase requires a face to face setup but Amex can be done online. NFCU is a very good one but you have to be a member and my investor is not. I know there are probably others but these seem to be championed the most, I think. Am I on the right track? Am I missing some cards that would work well with this group?
  6. Yes I did with Uline and Gemplers. I checked and the one tradeline is reporting paid as agreed. My orders were placed using terms as payment. Not sure how to see my paydex. I have the pdf of the tradeline but I didn't see a score anywhere. Gemplers isn't really a starter account. As I mentioned usually Uline declines when they see something they don't like or the order is large. You won't have a score with one trade! AND THE PAYDEX SCORE MEANS NOTHING! Sorry we have repeated this a million times here. LOL Things have definitely changed since I did this years ago when the board first started. Trying to update myself and get back on track. I appreciate the help always.

  8. Big congrats!!!
  9. Yes, I know it can take some time. Sounds like I need to wait it out and try again in a few weeks. I thought Gemplers approved without dnb listings. Thanks!
  10. I just checked and have one reporting and I have proper filings with the state.
  11. They both want me to pay for the orders I placed asking for terms. I had just placed orders with quill and amsterdam and paid early. I did all of then 411 stuff, I followed the steps laid out in the group for starting a business profile, and I figured after 3 weeks, those two accounts should have reported by now. Also, what is being compliant mean?
  12. I am starting out building business credit for my trucking company. I got and paid on time amsterdam and quill. I waited and then applied for gemplers and uline and they turned me down for terms due to DNB. Any ideas what I should do from here?
  13. I am so late to the game on this one! Is there any way that they are still accepting clients Kristofsmom?
  14. Taking notes and screenshots of all of this invaluable information! I knew my neighbor wasn't correct but I got lost in the sea of google results lol. I'm definitely going to join OOIDA. I have heard about the boards but until I get that seasoning on my number, what you do guys think about leasing out the number to more seasoned operators to drive under?
  15. That is great BRBiz! Welp I don't have cash, credit, or collateral right now nor can I borrow someone else's as a recent divorcee. I'm definitely going to be climbing every mountain on this one.
