  1. Have had my Zynch since 10/2010... And love it... since it must be paid in full it helps to keep me on budget... not to mention my foot is in the Amex door, and when I get a real Amex... I will be backdated.. OH Happy Day!!!!
  2. Have been a member on here for quite some time... learning and lerking and reading... I have gone from a 600 Fico to 690,, but have been stuck in the 690's for a while, largely due to utilization,, somewhere around 80% A well off friend... who makes well into 6 figures, offered to loan me $15,000 to pay off my debt. She figured if she charges me a maximum of 8%APR, she makes more on her money with me.. and I save on interest, since the average interest I am currently paying is 19%. This would be a legal loan drawn up through an attorney with all the usuall... terms... My Husband thinks I should do it and quickly.. I am worried, if something goes wrong I have ruined a 11 year friendship. Some background. In 2006, when I lost my job, she gave us $5,0000 to get us by until my severance came through... when we went to repay... she told us to keep it and apply to our debt. Lastly, she has already put me in her will to receive more than enough money to pay off our mortgage... What do you guys think?????
  3. This is so on point, I opened up my mail yesterday and what do I have a pre-approval from First Premier, Guaranteed $700, credit line and $150.00 a year annual FEE... Are they for real, I have a 690 Fico score, just got a lease on a 2011 Kia Sorento, and they think have credit cards with 4,000 and 5,000 limits and I am going to get one of their cards. Oh and did I meantion its their "PLANTINUM" CARD
  4. I have had my card open since Jan 2009, I logged in yesterday and noticed a $200.00 increase, this is the only increase i have been given since opening.
  5. Talk about cutting you losses!!!!!
  6. Worked for me 1,000.... ok now I might just go shopping for a new sofa!!!
  7. Thanks for all the suggestions, I went on immediately and made a payment it was due Feb 25th. Am crossing fingers!!!
  8. I could just faint after all my hardwork, I just opened up my Sears statement and realized I must of forgot to go online and pay my bill..... Now I will have a 30-Day notation dinging my pristine no lates, no baddies, credit reports, I could just throw up!!!!
  9. I am currently a Manager of a 172 unit complex in Michigan and can let you know that our policy is to accept a applicant with an outstanding balance to a previous landlord with a copy of a satisfactory repayment agreement, as long as the actual landlord reference does not contain derogatory information other than the oustading balance.
  10. Perhaps you could try HSN or QVC. I have financed 2 computers through them, 1 desktop 3 years ago and most recently a laptop. If you can afford 150.00 per month for 6 months, that that would be great. I know that seems high, but just keep in my in 6 months you will own a brand new computer. HSN usally has a 3 year extended warranty. And if you pay it off on your credit card each month, it's a no interest loan.
  11. There were no links inside the email. I logged into paypal directly. But when I click on current activity on my buyer credit accout I get an error.
  12. Got this email this morning Hello stormct24, We removed a debit or credit card from your PayPal account because it is no longer valid. It's easy to add a new card and avoid hassles the next time you want to send a payment: Log in to your PayPal account. Go to your Profile at the top of the page and click "Credit/Debit Cards." Click Add to link a new card to your account. Thanks, and now I get an error when I check the activity of my buyer credit account, anyone else get this email, or having trouble logging in this morning?
  13. In Jan 09 I applied for Sears and was approved with a 1100 limit. I also applied for a homedepot card and was approved with a 1200 limit. Might work for you as well!
  14. I have an update. Called the 800 once I received letter and explained, their backwards thinking of incresing my credit 300 on 9/15 and then decreasing it $400 on 9/30. My account was re-opened with the 1200 limit. Amazing what a little persistance and the right supervisor can accomplish!!!!!
  15. On 9/15/09 I went online and hit the love button on my sams club credit account. It said congradulations you have been approved for $300.00 increase, which made my CL 1200.00. On 9/30/09 I received my statement showing my new credit line and my available credit of 465.89. Today I got to sams club and make a purchase of 31.78 and decide to charge it. It was declined. I thought perhaps the cashier didn't enter the payment type correctly on their new registers, declined again. After paying for it with my mastercard I went to the service counter. They called GEMB and after speaking to a CSR I was informed that on October 1, 2009, they decresed my credit to 10 over my balance. Not only had they taken back the recent CLI they decreased it to just over what I owed. I politely told her to close the account and her and sams can stick their card where the sun don't shine, and I ain't talking Alaska.... How embarassing, and no notice whatsover. I was told they sent the letter on 10/1/09, and I should be receiving it shortly. The CSR said she couldn't tell me why, but the letter would state it. Costco here I come, they have better products and selections. Sams our 15 year relationship is history!!!!!!!!!!
