Hi Folks, Need some advice please. I just received a notice regarding an old credit card charge off from around 1997. It is stating that unless I respond back disputing the validity of this debt that they will assume that the debt is valid. They also mention that they are willing to settle for a percentage of the balance. I'm not sure whether to ignore this notice because it way past sol to be added to my cr or be sued, or to respond back in some way. What's the best way to handle this? Thank you!
