Do you have to be a resident of P to apply for a loan or cc with PSECU?

Thanks ckvb. I called during lunch. The lady was very nice, and polite. She asked how much I would like my CL to be, I then told her $5000 (I was recently approved for $500). After a few mins on hold, I was declined. She said I would receive a letter stating to go and kick rocks. GE/Walmart pulled TU for the approval. At the time my approval was granted I show a 681 on TU (using SC) and my inquiries were 2. Oh well, I'll try back in a couple months.

I just applied for the Walmart card last week and had to find out through SC that an account was added. When I researched the alert, I found that GE/Walmart was opened two days after I applied. However, my CL is only $500. Can anyone provide the number to the backdoor number so that I may call in to try for an increase? Thanks in advance!

Is your AU not being reported on Equifax?
ourfamilyrox7 replied to ourfamilyrox7's topic in Credit Forum
I did want to add that one of the accounts I am in the process of trying to get my AU to show up on Equifax, is an AmEx credit card. I made the phone call to Customer Service today, explained my situation and voiced my concern over AmEx not reporting to all 3 bureaus (I already know its not Amex). I was given a number to the person to speak to in the credit reporting dept. They also advised that I have the reference number from my EQ report ready when I call. By the way the AU I want to add is my wife. So, as i mentioned before, the approach I am taking when placing these calls is more geared for spouses, engaged couples, and possibly an immediate family member. I will hopefully post my success after speaking with this particular person/dept on Monday since they are closed on weekends. -

Is your AU not being reported on Equifax?
ourfamilyrox7 replied to ourfamilyrox7's topic in Credit Forum
Well here goes. It began when I first started this credit repair & strengthening process late last year by writing the EO of Capital One. In my letter I advised that my AU was not receiving any updates to all 3 bureaus ( I knew it was only EQ) but I also knew that there was a hurdle and didn't want to lead them directly to it for the reason of obvious intentions (something I learned from reading some of BW's advice on certain posts). Anyway, I recieved the call a day or two later and a guy said he would look into it. I get a call back from him and he said that they are reporting every month to EQ but EQ will not acknowledge the data that is being sent due to the data pertaining to an AU. After going round and round with he guy from the Cap One EO, it became apparent he was on my side to overcome this hurdle. He began to read another email back from a csr from EQ peratining to this issue he was having. He read aloud something along the lines of EQ will no longer acknlodge data for AU's. He then said, how about if I change your wife's info to a co-applicant/owner of the account. I said, "ok". So then he resubmitted it and VOILA! I received the alert from a Credit Monitoring Svc that an acct had been added. She was now the co-applicant of an account that was 6 years old with perfect history being reported to EQ. So fast forward to last month when my wife and I decided to buy a vehicle. She applied thru NFCU's website for a vehicle loan after we chose the vehicle. She was "conditionally approved" for $76k (Infiniti Q Suv). She called and they advised she need a co-signer that was a member. I took the phone and said, "I will co-sign, however I did not want the burden of the heavy debt that came along with it ( that was the reason the wife applied by herself initially, so our debt could be evenly separated). The NFCU rep then said, I can report you to the bureaus as a "guarantor" only. I instantly thought of the Cap One EO csr and I said "ok, that fine". She came back on the line and advised that all the notes were in place and the loan was approved. Several weeks later I received an alert stating that a new acct was reporting to all 3 bureaus. It was NFCU's car loan and in the details it stated "guarantor only". By the way, the amount did post to my total profile. The only reason I bring this story up is because the NFCU rep inadvertently met the requirements for EQ to acknowledge my involvement with this acct by placing me as a " guarantor ". So to test to see how this would impact my approval on future credit cards I went one hell of an app spree and reconned every denial with 100% approval on any request I made. For instance, one denial stated "too much recent credit" blah blah blah. I would call and speak to the UW's and advise them to read the details of the recent NFCU acct. They would normally come back and say "oh, Im sorry, yes your approved" and this went on for almost 5 new cards with an avg of $3500 to $5k limits with Chase, Barclay, Amex, GE and Discover IT. Use this how you will folks but I am now going to try and and request that my AU (wife) be converted to a co-applicant on several other accts. and vice versa for the accts that I am an AU on her accts. In my opinion this will probably be best for couples, married folks, and immediate family members looking to boost their EQ score once EQ acknowledges the acct and reports the info. I especially noticed the big jump in my wife's EQ score once my wife was given my full history on my cap one acct. Kind of how like BW's D* works when you add an AU on an old Amex acct. to help with AAOA. ( By the way, I am a huge BobWang Fan and one day hope to have the privilege of being an AU on his Amex ) Lastly, this is my very first post, first longest reply and hopefully one of many contributions to this board. So please excuse any off topic sentences, details, or notes in this reply. I will shorten and strengthen my replies as my post experience grows. -
I am shamed to admit that I used them once and regretted it until the day I made the last payment. I would take the advice from the other members as well. Provide more specific information to your situation, so that other members may recommend to you other options that you could possibly look into (remember we are all here to help one another). But, as for your question and seeing as how I was a recent "customer" I can tell you they only pull Experian. However, only report to Equifax and Experian. Good luck!

Hello everyone, I have been a long time CB lurker but recently registered for an account, started sharing my experiences, and posting my results to CreditPulls. Now, I am wanting to share something I believe may be of use to anyone in the same position I found myself in a few months back. With that being said, I need some feedback first to make sure its not just me and my wife getting the shaft from Equifax. Has anyone encountered a problem with Equifax not reporting an account, specifically with an AU? For example; I add my wife on as an AU on a NFCU CC and almost immediately Experian and Transunion report the account on my wife's reports. However, Equifax will not report, nor will it ever show up. I was told by someone that works in the financial industry that Equifax not too long ago quit reporting the data that was being sent by the creditor when it pertains to an AU. I believe I may have uncovered a way to get past this hurdle. I say, " I believe" because I have only (by accident) attempted and successfully accomplished a way to get past this. Looking for feedback or experiences please.
