Need help with Strategy for CashCall lates that weren't late!
wdwslr85 replied to wdwslr85's topic in Credit Forum
Thanks, I will pursue that. My fear is they will just get pissed at me and then pull my agreement or something and leave me in a worse scenario. As far as the mortgage though, that's out so no longer a concern at least for a year or 2. I'm 1099 and don't have enough history to be able to qualify. What a screwed up world where we, as a society, advocate for salaried employees who work extra and don't get paid for it. If you value your time and refuse to work for free, you are penalized. -
Need help with Strategy for CashCall lates that weren't late!

I'm in WI I'm happy to help the greater good, but I'm more concerned about my ability to get a mortgage with this mess. -
Hi Everyone, First, sorry if I"m in the wrong boards. Mods please move to the correct location if this is the wrong forum and accept my apologies So the story is this: 1. In August 2015 I was 30 days late on my Cashcall loan. Long story short my business took a dive and I had a severe cash crunch. At that time I established a relationship with a representative and was placed on a temporary payment plan. I paid a couple 500 dollar payments and then a couple 1k payments. I was told they would remove the 30 days late since I managed to come up with an extra payment plus make the first installment payment, but that never happened. However, it didn't have a huge effect on my score. My account was considered on time during the entire process with the exception of the 30 days late 2. In January 2016 I made a stop gap payment of 1,000 dollars and set an agreement to pay 3x 500 payments and then 33x 1000 which would pay off the loan. Everything was fine. I made my 3x 500 and all was reported as on time - nothing changed. April was my first 1,000 payment which was made. Note I do have credit monitoring and had been actively monitoring as well to make sure all was good. Skip, now, to April 27th and I applied for a mortgage only to find out that Cashcall had suddenly reported me as 180 days late as of the month of April(after taking my 1,000 dollars mind you)! I have the proof that I have paid them as agreed every month since August and all the calls with the rep I was working with were recorded. When I called my rep, he informed me our payment agreement from January apparently didn't get put in the system correctly or something happened and so they sent me as a charge off and I was being transferred to a different representative. So since time is critical, I spoke with my new rep and was able to get the CORRECT payment agreement of 1k for 33 months. However, she said Cashcall won't take the late payments off. There are a couple good things to come out of this, the most important is that I am supposed to be receiving a settlement agreement via email which I can show to the mortgage lender indicating my payment is less than the 2700 being reported on my credit report and that I'm on a payment agreement. But that still doesn't make it anywhere near right to take my money every month and then turn around and report me as 180 days late. The broker even told me on the report it says November, Dec, Jan, Feb, March all reported as "1" for on time and then April suddenly a "5" for 180 days late. So the way I figure it, I have 2 optoins which I might pursue simultaneously: 1. Simply dispute the late payments with the credit bureaus and make Cashcall prove that I'm late. If they don't indicate that I was on a payment agreement though, then I have to get into a dispute directly with cashcall 2. I can have my lawyer send a letter. I subscribe to a service called LegalShield and it costs me nothing to do this. The kicker is I don't want to jeopardize the agreement in place. However, I shouldn't feel like getting an ACCURATE representation on my report would cause negative consequences of an established agreement either. So what are your thoughts? What is the best course of action to take on this? Thanks! Thommy

As far as I know, there is only one product on the market which will actually work on your behalf to restore your identity at no additional charge, and it's only 12.95/month which puts it very competitive with the rest of the ID Theft industry. You or anyone else can PM me if you want additional information.

If you have an immediate need for score increase, go for the % utilization payoff, but don't' close the accounts unless you're sure it won't hurt the AAOA on your report. If you're looking more at the cost to you in the long run, pay off higher interest first. I am in a similar situation, but my job is a little shaky so until I know what's going on with it, I suffer through the interest to keep an emergency savings in case I lose my job.

I went through the same situation with Sun Trust. They don't do anything quickly and not only can your account be overd rafted, but you're screwed if it's money you need for bills. Thus, I'll use my debit card locally, but online I always use my credit card as well as for travel. In addition, I have a separate checking account for bills which never gets used via debit card, so even if someone got my spending account debit card, it won't lead to being late on bills. In fact, they are separate banks! Best of luck though!

yes, and keep on them about the reactivation too! They took over 2 weeks to get mine reactivated which therefore caused me to lose out on the B* cycle and cost me more money.

has anyone gotten C* this week? I think the spreadsheet said this is the targeted week. I'm in FL so it will happen tonight for me if it's going to happen. Hopefully things are off a week and it won't be till next week, then I'll have enough time to get rid of all my inqs! -
USAA CCM ending daily pulls tomorrow (at least mine)

I called in and they said it's a glitch in the system. She refreshed it for me so I still get my valuable pull for the day and then tomorrow I should be able to pull on my own. -

I changed my account online to upgrade to triple pulls daily, but then it wouldn't allow me to pull today, saying I already pulled, which I didn't. When I view my report it says my current report is from 10/9 so I'm gonna have ot call about it. Sheesh -
756 -1 point which is great considering I opened a Kay account and charged 2300 to it(util is still below 30% though) Next month my NFCU card will report, but my inquiries will drop so hopefully that'll even out. Then it's garden garden garden!

Do NFCU Business products require business financials?
wdwslr85 replied to wdwslr85's topic in Business Credit
if they did, I'm not aware of it. They only pulled personal as far as I know. They never asked for a DUNS number either. I think since it's PG, they just pull personal.
