  1. Is there any benefit or downside attempting to remove a paid collection?
  2. It is being updated every month (last 3) for $752. It was paid off 3 months ago. It is being updated every month as open with a $752 balance owed. It should show 0 and closed
  3. Thank you, will get them out.
  4. It's on my GF's report. The payment was sent to their attorney. It was in Freedom Debt Relief's hands and they dropped the ball and she was sued and lost. FDR never notified her and a payment was made to their attorney. The OC was was a retail cc closed in 2017.
  5. I have an account from Portfolio Recovery on my reports, the account was paid months ago and is still showing open and with a balance. I disputed an item on both my Experian and TU reports a month ago and they both just reported it as validated and remaining with an open balance. This account was paid in full, which I have a receipt for. What would be the best way to handle this from this point? Thanks for any help offered.
  6. Zero baddies. Zero late, COff's, ect.. As far as Discover, IDK.. As soon as they did it, i called them the next month and they restored it. I use the cards for incidentals and then PIF before statement, just to show use on cards.
  7. I think this is what you are asking about.. Oldest Account 22.5 year(s) Average Account Age 4.6 year(s)
  8. A lot of people on here have helped me over the last few years. I was at very low 500 cs and tons of bad stuff on my file. I worked hard, built my credit and I am now a home owner. I bought a nice house on 4.5 acres in the Florida panhandle. Thank you to this site... Ok, I seemed to be stuck at the 760 range. Maybe it just takes time, but I want to hit 800. I have 2 cards with CL's of 15,000 and still all the store cards listed in my sig. Got a CL increase today from Home Depot (1650 - 5000 ) that I didn't have to request. Guess they want me to buy stuff for my new house. I do have a LOT of inquries.. Seemed everyone has been pulling for the last few months for mortgage, utilities ect. I have a few installment loans, everything else has a zero balance. Do I do the one dollar thing? Are my lower store cards hurting me? Or do I just chill and sit back. All of my installment loads are on auto debit, they will never be later. Anything else I should do? Thanks for your time now and in the past.
  9. OK, I close on 11/13. I did a conv loan at 4.25% for 30yrs. Kunner, I like your Idea. My mortgage with HO insurance and taxes is $463.00 I think I can swing it... My score was 756...
  10. Ok, I'll go look. Thanks.
  11. Ok, thank you. Doing contract this week and I will see what they offer.
  12. Ok... Well I contacted Quicken Mortgage. They started an app. Credit came in at 675 on all three. She is putting together a few packages and getting back to me. Any input on loan type? ARM? 30 fixed?
  13. Thanks to this board I am in great shape. I retired from the fire department 2 weeks ago. I am debt free and I have $90,000.00 in savings. My credit is listed below. Every balance is at 0 and I do not have any negative TL's on any reports. My last check 2 weeks ago, I was at 650 - 680 my reports. I ditched USAA CreditMonitoring when they took away my daily pulls. I found a house I want to buy. It is listed at $115,000 and been on the market for 200 days. I am a USAA and Penfed member. Anyone use them for a mortgage? would I be better off going local? I plan on putting 40 - 50% down. My pension starts next week at $4895.00 a month. Thanks for the help. I have not dealt with mortgages in 20 years.
  14. Yes I did. They have yet to respond to any mail correspondence. I DV'ed them within 24 hours of receiving their demand letter, no response. It appears on my CR 3 weeks later, so I send them another and no response. Then I sent them a second updated letter. AT&T sent me billing info that shows that the account was written off in Sept 2008, yet Enhanced is writing it as 2009
  15. Ok, I contacted AT&T concerning this. My account was hit with fraud again in April, but due to today's technology, I received a text message that my account information was changed. I asked for a copy of everything from 2008. I now have it and it shows the account was opened in June 2008 and closed in September for lack of payment. I have sent three request to Enhanced Recovery for information (DV, certified mail) and they have refused to answer any mail. I just closed my account with AT&T, they will not get one more dollar of my money. What can I do to get rid of this. Enhanced is reporting this account as 2009 and they have verified it when I tried to challenge it through Eq and Ex.
