just got a letter in the mail from santander on why i was deined. score was a 560 on eq and listed some of the previous credit issues ive had. what i was surprised to find out is that im a 1st time auto buyer. i was under the impression that my motorcycle loan was considered to be an auto loan. so i guess its really time for me to regroup. i have to idea where to look for an auto loan as a 1st time buyer and having a low score

i recently had a similar situation with midland. disputed online with experian and just like that they were gone. still waiting to see if eq and tu will delete them as well

would you predict that year and mileage would also be a factor?

Well, you might want to contact the county again and ask for " proof of service ", as it is usually provided with the judgment, whether service in person or service by publication. Based on what qualifies as service in California, you may be able to put up a fight on lack of legal service, then go back to square one, forcing them to validate. ill give that a try tomorrow and see where it gets me
-
yes i contacted the county to check and it is reporting to all three
-
i live in california. i havent heard of service by publication but ill look that up

i have a judgement from 6/2010 from a motorcycles repo. currently i owe $1500 on the debt and pay monthly although often late (its not a top priority because report as RF). i admit to oweing the debt and dont mind paying it off however i would love to find a way to get this off my report. before i was sued i wasnt properly served. i was sent a letter from the lein holder via regular mail that stated i was going to be sued it had a date and time to appear. my question is can/should i dispute the judgement because i wasnt properly served or should i wait until its paid in full so they dont attempt to garnish my wages?

my little brother turned 18 a couple months ago and is looking to establish credit. i dont want him to start racking up inquirys while looking for a credit card so i figured i'd ask here 1st. does anyone know he should apply? is there anywhere that would give him a unsecured card and if he has to go with a secured card who is best? trying to lead him in the right direction so he doesnt make the same mistakes that i did.
-
long story short i have some pretty bad credit (556) a motorcycle repo which lead to a judgement and 2 credit card charge offs all about two and a half years old. my question is are there any lenders that will fianace with a judgement on file?

hopefully i can get rid of them and soon.
