USAA's online banking website is by far the best of all banks/CU's imo. It's always blazing fast and rarely "down for maintenance". The layout is clear, convenient and highly customizable (I love how you can easily manage and group all your products on the main page to your taste). The features are rich and hassle-free. ACH transactions are always posted in a timely manner.

Thanks! That's indeed how mine reported. I guess it's the same for everyone then? -

My new AMEX premier rewards gold card reported as "revolving"

You mean it reports the same way on the EX back door right? Does it also report it that way on your other reports? Also do you happen to have paper reports directly from the CB's to compare? Have you noticed any FICO penalty? -
Hmm my new AMEX premier rewards gold charge card just showed up on EX. Upon viewing the EX backdoor report I found that the "account type" is listed as "revolving", just like any other credit card. The credit limit is N/A. CCT/CS etc show the same revolving type. Is this normal? I thought AMEX charge cards are supposed to be reported as "Open" instead of "revovling". I don't have any other AMEX personal charge cards so I can't reallly compare it against my own. If you have one what does it show on your EX backdoor? I think the EX official backdoor report should be as good as a paper one. Or should I order a paper copy just to confirm?

AWW you BADDD influences!!!!! I already told myself no more new apps this year. But I've been a USAA member all these years and read about all these "step children" drama, now when a barrier seems to be finally removed credit wise (I don't really care about their insurance products anyway since I'm almost 100% sure they will not be able to beat my current rates), that and the fact that I just recently got "B" on my EQ, and the fact that it's such a spirited season of the year, and plus a million other excuses... I pulled the trigger on a cash rewards world mastercard (which seems to be really the exact same card as the AMEX version, just different network). Instant $15k approval at 10.99%. I've had the rewardless version of the mastercard with a CL of $25k for 4 years now. They just recently delined my CLI request with a hard citing "maximum credit extended" about a month ago. Will they snatch it back? Only time will tell. BTW anyone knows how this card reports? "Flex spending" or normal revolving?

Are banks stealing money from the poor to reward the wealthy?

Try Costco insurance by Amerirprise. Even if you're not a Costco member you can still get a quote, then you can decide whether or not the savings is worth the $50 AF. In my case they cut my rate on my BMW by almost 40% off my State Farm rate, which was already the lowest among others for me. Just google Costco insurance for a link.

So umm so it seems the game that GM has been playing in the past decade is: Given a few sets of engine/tranny/drivetrain etc Given a few sets of chasis Given some different lights/trims/logos/paintings/stylings/various other car parts Who can come up with the most number of different brands and model car combinations?? What a weird game this is.

Instead of going circles around all the "A B C" games, it would be a lot easier if you simply tell us exactly who these issuers are. I don't see any point in trying to hide their names. Each lender often has their own characteristics, likes and dislikes, general policies and limitations for growth. The exepriences of the CBers can often give you a better insights on what to look for and what to look out for.

For auto insurance, if you have a Costco membership I strongly encourage you to get a quote from the Costco/Ameriprise insurance. As a matter of fact, even if you don't have a Costco membership or there isn't even a Costco at where you live, you can still get a quote from here (or google if the link doesn't work). Costco membership info is only requested when you actually order the policy, so you can decide if the $50/year membership is worth getting just for the insurance. For many people myself included, this combo yielded substantial savings over any other insurance company. It slashed my rate with SF (which was already the lowest among others for me) by a whopping 40%. It did the same for one friend and one family member. We do all have very good credit scores and driving records.
