  1. 3 yes. I forget about that 4th one.
  2. Hey Everyone, Its been a long time but I find myself needing help again. Trying to buy a house and trying to get my credit cleaned up after Covid financially kicked my butt. I have two midland accounts and one portfolio recovery account showing up under "other accounts" instead of under collections. No information other than an outstanding balance listed. Any suggestions on how to best approach this? Just a regular one/to punch? Thanks!
  3. They were. I've done pretty well cleaning up my mess with the exception of this recent screw up.
  4. I've actually had good luck with it. I have disputed off a few closed cards. But I get what you are saying about going to less open lines.
  5. No it wasn't in forbearance. We just lost a ton of income and I wasn't thinking about that store card. I have 2 revolving never late, an auto loan never late and a whole lot of student loans that were never late. The store card has been lowered to a $150 limit they won't increase and they refused to goodwill. I thought if I closed it I might be able to dispute it off and be done with it. The $150 limit is kinda useless anyway.
  6. Thats what I'm thinking disco panda. I have a Cap 1 Silver and a Cap 1 starter card. I have an open and current auto loan and open and current student loans. I think I'm just gonna cut my loses and see if I can get it deleted. I'm just so irritated they wont goodwill. Even Cap 1 did.
  7. I have an overstock account that is showing a 90 day late from early spring. (thanks Covid) They also lowered my limit to $150. I have goodwilled, sent several letters and even went as far as FB and they said my account doesn't meet the criteria for a goodwill. So what do I do? I'm thinking about closing the card and just trying to delete it. a $150 credit limit isn't worth it to me. But I only have a total of $1000 available credit that is almost 2 years old.
  8. My score was doing great, going up, mid-600s. Got a notice today my score dropped 63 points. Checked EVERYTHING to make sure I didn’t miss a payment, nope. Experian is reporting merrick charge off reported a more than 60 days late. It’s been charged off for months and has a “paid” status. What can I do???
  9. The whole account should age off in March. The latest were from 2013.
  10. My oldest account is a student loan account from 2003. I had it refinanced a few years ago, but it is still reporting as 120 days late. What is going to hurt me more? Deleting the oldest account I have by 10 years? Or the 120 day reporting? I want to get rid of it but I am afraid of losing its age.
  11. That's common with Fedloan. Mine shows 90 day with no 30 or 60. And I've taken it all the way to the Ombudsmans with no luck, even thought they back dated a deferment and I have the back date in writing. They still one remove it because technically it WAS 90 days late then, even if it shouldn't be considered that way now. Mine went out of deferment and I didn't realize it. I got a financial hardship deferment in place that COVERS those dates and still no dice.
  12. Ugh. It sounds like this one is gonna be a pain. I'm mailing off the DV today. My report is CLEAN otherwise. Blah.
  13. I am sure it wasn't 2005. That's the weird thing. I really don't think this is mine. There is a Jessica Marshall who lives in the same area as me, and we had some merging issues in the past. What a pain. I was hoping there would be an easier way to deal with them.
  14. 2008. Is what it's showing. It's for $1k. But I haven't used my maiden name since 2005.
  15. Help! Asset Acceptance has gotten on my CR for a zombie debt in my maiden name. (I've been married 8 1/2 years!!) The are reporting as a TRADELINE and not as a Collection, and its killing my score. This just happened a few days ago. Can anyone help?
