Believe me, I will. And for the record I don't believe the encrypted BS either. I NEED that proposal! ACCC obviously sent the proposal, and Cap1 obviously accepted, or Cap1 would have sold it by now. I have to go back through my records, but I remember seeing a lower interest rate and monthly payment, which Cap1 is accepting every month. Cap1 is not reporting any accepted payments after the accounts were charged off in Oct 2022. Cap1 IS reporting balances for each month since charge off which reflect receiving payment. So IMO only, Cap1 should be reporting as paying as agreed. How is that not a violation of the FCRA to show balances lowering each month, but not reporting payments received, listing the accounts as charged off, and reporting accounts closed??

Im sorry for posting here, as this issue pertains to a debt consolidation. But it is complex, so I am posting it here. I made the decision to consolidate my debt in May of 2022. I chose to go with American Consumer Credit Counseling. ACCC sent all my creditors the proposal and all creditors accepted the proposal in June of 2022. I have religiously been paying monthly to ACCC ever since, not missing any payments. ACCC has issued those payments to my creditors without fail. I will plead stupidity here, but I didn't log into my creditors websites often. Matter of fact, I hadn't logged into one creditors website until this past February. That creditor is Cap1. I have 2 accounts with them. I was surprised when I logged in and saw that both Cap1 accounts were showing charged off! How can this be? They accepted the ACCC proposal, and have been accepting payments from me, through ACCC, every month since June 2022! I called ACCC and let them know something was wrong. ACCC kept me on the line, and did a 3 way call with Cap1. The Cap1 representative said no proposal shows in their system, that their system does in fact show both accounts were charged off in October of 2022. BUT they could also see monthly payments have been accepted every month to this date. Is it not illegal for Cap1 to charge off my accounts, but still accept payments from me? I am really getting screwed here, as my credit reports(I cannot access my Experian nor get ahold of anyone to even see my report) show both Cap1 accounts as charged off, and each Cap1 account shows no payments after October 2022!!! I just called ACCC and asked them to send me a copy of the accepted proposal from June of 2022, but the representative I talked to said the proposal is encrypted and I would not be able to read it if they sent it to me. THIS I dont understand at all! Without the accepted proposal that would list Cap1's acceptance, how could I even dispute anything with the credit bureaus? I feel like talking to an attorney, unfortunately at this time I do not have the funds for an attorney. How screwed am I here?? Royally I feel!! Thanks all.

Yes, but that didnt answer my question. Which seems to happen an awful lot lately. This place sure has changed. I did find the answer though.

My statement is on the 13th. My 6th statement should be May 13, 2017. Am I understanding right that I may receive an automatic CLI around that time? And would I also be able to app for a 2nd card at that time? Thank you.

Just an update. Got in, app'd for cash rewards, and CLOC. I filed bk last year, discharged 11/16. Denied for both apps. Just got both denials in the mail, both only list reason for denial as bk. The CC denial says my internal score is 303. The CLOC denial says my EQ score is 650. My reports are clean and only other CC is Cap1 $400 PIF each month. So my experience, contrary to others, they arent as bk friendly as portrayed.

PenFed is still very conservative, not sure what would give anyone the impression they are not. PenFed isnt all theyre cracked up to be. -
Ya, its a struggle believe me, but thank you, really appreciate it!

Thank you. I find it odd that EX is the only one showing a before BK payment history. I pulled out my paper copies (only have EQ and TU right now) and I do notice Barclays, across the board, updated in Feb 2017 to charge off instead of IIB. I was discharged in Nov 16. I am having a rough day (Lyme disease) so ill have to pass on trying to fix today. But when my mind is clearer ill jump on trying to fix and see what else might be wrong. Thank you.

Can creditors list payment history before BK was filed? I just checked CCT and I have 7 negatives, those being late payments before BK. Its killing my EX score. Its late and im blurry eyed, going to check for other possible mistakes in the morning, but those 7 lates are whats showing on CCT as negatives that are affecting me most for EX. For the record, EQ and TU arent showing any payment history under any of my IIB accounts. Thanks.

Declined for cash rewards. Apparently 4 months out of BK isnt a good thing...oh well.

All set up ready to go...app'd for cash rewards, got "Your application has been accepted and is currently being reviewed. The processing time for a credit card application is 24 hours unless additional information is needed."
