I called and was approved for an auto loan about a week ago, the representative that picked up my call was very nice and very efficient. I literally did not take 5 minutes for her to approve me. Someone asked if you are offered a MC when approved for an auto loan, yes, the repa I spoke with said: "Since you were approved for an auto loan, you are automatically preapproved for a Cash Back mastercard with a credit limit of $10,000. It is......and it has.....Can we get that out to you today, Mam?" HTH

Congratulations! Feels great, doesn't it! I was blessed this week by USAA too. I called for a car loan, was approved $25,000 @ 5.5%(used) for 60 months and was offered one of their mastercards ($10,000)which I gladly accepted. I also had 2 cars and a motorcyle insured with them. The cars were covered with liability and the motorcycle had full coverage. I dropped one of the cars(sold it) and added the Tahoe with full coverage and our insurance only went up by $55.00, from $255.00 six month premium to $310.00 six month premium. USAA is my new bank of choice! Love em!

I am having trouble with 2 utiliy bills, I have tried everything. Do you find that they are harder to get off? Anywhoooo.....I am asking for advice about the credit cards I was able to obtain since cleaning reports. Chase= $1,100 @ 21.49% BofA= $500 @ 17.40% (secured) Juniper= $18,000 @ 12.74 Amex= $3,000 @ 16.64% Wells Fargo= $5,000 @ 11.41% Citi= $11,000 @ 13.90% I have high interest rates, I like all the cards for different reasons. I dont know what I want to ask becasue I really dont know if this is good for someone whos scores were just 500 about a year ago and most of these tradelines are less than 4 months old. I use Amex and Juniper daily and pay Amex in full each month. The others have 0 balances. So what I am asking is What would you do with these cards?

We also just began the process of buying new-construction here in North Carolina. We walked in with a preapproval so it made the whole process run a bit more smoother. We paid 300.00 in earnest money, picked out our lot, and chose our slab foundations (kitchen island, fireplaces, gas line to back yard, icemaker line, etc , etc) selected upgrades at their showroom and we are now put into a building rotation. They are scheduled to start framing our 2493 squarefoot home in Jan. and they build on a 48 day work schedule so assuming there arent too many bad weather days we should be in our home by early to mid march. I applied for Delta Skypoints, when I received the card I called to convert to Blue the very same day with no problems at all- very friendly customer service!. HTH

I applied for the Skymiles a few weeks ago and was approved for $2000, since I dont often fly Delta, I called just one week later to convert to Blue cash. CSR said I will have the same account number and card will arrive after first closing date. I have used the LUV button twice, first was a measly $200 and the second was for $1000. I am up to $3200 in less than a month. Not to bad!

How did you make out? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have to jump on the bandwagon here. I was admiring them yesterday and meant to post about how adorable they were but of course I got caught up in reading the everlasting other citi thread. Anyways they are precious.

I used my AMEX for the first time yesterday in Marshalls and was asked to see ID and was told "I am just going to hold your card until you are done signing." It didnt bother me at all but it was something that I had never heard before.

Im sorry yall, I tried so hard not to respond but it was killing me....... Did you not think, smart flowers, that if I had not said anything that this thread would not have come back to the top anyways!? It has been on the 1st page for several days. Reguardless of whether anyone is paranoid or not, its not the best idea to continue to report every move we are making about these Citi accounts not knowing whether there are snitches lurking. I was not trying to be sarcastic or nasty simply trying to state my oppinion What I am trying to figure out now is why you of all people seem to have taken such an "offense" to my post. Sarcasm gets you everywhere

With all the trolls and all the paranoia, I suggest we let this thread die and rest in peace. Who knows what trolls are lurking and willing to spill the beans to citi. just my 2 cents
