  1. THANKS i just pulled mine direct from experian and it says verified dec 09 and remains unchanged never received anything from them about it yet though. should i now send the letter to the collection agencies about fraudulent verification?
  2. sorry, didn't communicate clearly; i did not receive any experian investigation results letter from my pre-hipaa dispute. i was wondering if the reason why i didn't was because of the report# i gave them was not from their original credit report, but from a third party or if it made a difference... and how i should follow up
  3. Well, i got all green cards back and before i could send out follow ups both transunion and equifax sent me a letter stating that they were deleting the entry from my reports. i have not received a response from experian, but my letter gave a credit report# that was on an experian report through a third party (intellius credit program) and the credit report was not directly through experian. will this be a hold up? should i give them time to respond, give them a call to check status or just send follow-up letter?
  4. thanks so much, i have already started my prehipaa dispute, following all instructions- but just out of curiousity, why specifically lilac or teal? definitely doing it, just wondering anyone know why those colors?
  5. at least a year ago i disputed a collections charge to experian i think, i had never done that before and had not yet found this site; so i have done everything wrong so far! i did not send it certified (actually can't even remember if i actually sent it or just did it online). i remember getting a letter back acknowledging that i sent a dispute (but of course while purging my files i through this away. to date the PAID collections still is on my credit reports (all three) with customer disputes. i spoke to both the ca who said that the info was given back to the hospital (because it was back in 06) and couldn't even give me the date i paid it off, just that it was indeed paid. i called the hospital and they said it was archived and couldn't give me any details, i should call the ca. my question is should i write a good faith letter to the original creditor (hospital) asking to remove this from credit reports? should i write a gf letter to collection agency asking to remove this from credit reports? should i write the credit reporting agencies and tell them that they have failed to provide me with an accurate investigation and send them that threatening prehipaa letter i see out there on the websites? what path do i take?
