  1. This is exactly my situation. I have 40k limits (with Amex too), but Cap 1 will not increase me from $600. I'm going to let it go. I only used it to build my credit and now all my scores are over 830. I asked for CLI's but they didn't care. So the hell with them.
  2. Opened 6/2020. They just emailed me that they are closing my account down for non activity for 1 year. It's $600 limit and I only used it to establish credit once again which I achieved. Can or should I try and keep it open for an aged account or can I not at this point?
  3. The last CLI that I requested was in 7/21 and they denied me but I didnt have the stellar credit at the time like I do now so perhaps I should. There is no AF. I'm just wondering if the $600 limit is hurting me given that I have several 20k+ limits on most of my cards. Also doesn't this contribute to my AAOA's? If so, wouldn't it be in my favor to keep it open?
  4. I have a Cap 1 card for 4 years now with a $600 limit. I presume this is my "toy card"? What should I do with this account? Keep it or close it?
  5. I appreciate everyone's input. Yes @TheVig that is a great question you pose. I have the same goals as you but saving money is always a top priority. Because I'm a frequent shopper. they reward me with a lot of cash back and 25% off deals which saves me money to do all the traveling I want. So I went for it yesterday because I bought some items and the rep tempted me to save 20% off with opening the card. Instantly approved for 10k with an Amex/Macy's card. Done!
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Macy's credit card would be considered a "toy card"? If so, I remember reading that it's not advised to get a toy card (which I don't recall why not) but if I shop there frequently enough to benefit from the rewards, is this a good choice to get one or should I stick to the major CC's?
  7. Have you ever been late on that account? NO Is this lease term paid off? YES
  8. There is no code showing @MarvBear. I am looking online though. Does it only show on the paper reports because I'd have to order them but its a lot of work. Should I just call Nissan to inquire?
  9. If that's the case, I'll keep it but I'm just wondering how it got there and what it is and of course, if there could be an negative impact to my credit. You dont think I should call Nissan at least to inquire about it?
  10. All the above info is from Experian but the loan is showing up on 3 CB's.
  11. Status: Open/Never late. Status updated: Jan 2024 Original balance: $12,600 Monthly payment: $0 Last payment date: Mar 08, 2017 92% paid off No mention of final rating. What the hell is this?! I am beginning to think this is someone else's account reporting on mine. Thoughts?
  12. A lease.
  13. So what do I do at this point? Call Nissan to inquire about what it is?
  14. We had a Nissan but I am not sure if this was our account or not. It states the account is open on Experian but closed on 1 of the other burues. I have no idea about this account to be honest. Should I call Nissan?
  15. A balance just updated on all 3 of my credit reports for almost 1k from Nissan-Infiniti LT, This account has been closed since 3/14 and reports as Paid, Closed/Never late but why is it now appearing on the CB? Should I dispute this? If so, do I do it within the Experian account or mail?
