  1. Hi. Updates. I was curious to what my fico score was so I ordered it thought equifax. This is what NFCU uses. 593. I put in a buyer's order for a 2002 4WD Rav4, 10,400 with tax and title and got the loan. Thanks.
  2. I'll go look for a car and see what happen. I am thinking about looking for something cheaper, couples of years older, around 10,000 before tax and fees vs trying to go and max it out 15,000.
  3. Hi. I did have two auto loan with NFCU. I paid the other one off like 1.5 years out of the 3 years plan (12,000). I want to get another auto loan (less than 4,000 on the other one, just bought a house) but instead of declining me they want me to find a vehicle to not exceed NADA 125% instead of telling me you have been deny for an auto loan. Usually, I either get approved or deny with there automated system. Never had I been though this after going to the automated system and waiting for someone to look at my files and make a decsion. I have been deny from NFCU before (with no car loan to with just one car one) but had gotten approved also (with both my car loan going for a 3rd, never used it). I am thinking if i went though all this 90% the would still decline me instead they are playing with me (reasons above). They sent me an email after could get a hold of me: The Lending Committee will require the final deal information. Please provide a copy of the Purchase or Buyer's Order that shows the year, make, model, VIN# and the name of the dealership. If buying from a private seller, please provide the final deal info as well with a copy of the Title for the vehicle you are purchasing. My question is should I look for one or they going to most likely decline me and don't waste my time (gas money, time off school, wife going into labor, need to move in my house). I do feel there is a hope because they could had been like NOPE. Thanks.
  4. We closed just!!! Got the keys. They credit us 594 to pay for the utilities once the bill comes in for this month. They also gave us 2400 for tax and if it cost a little more when we get the bill we would just have to come up with it (IF). Took about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  5. LOL. I can't believe I didn't catch that. 2010. LOL. Thanks. I even talked with the wife about it also and we both didn't catch it, lol. I might just wait and have it fall off. I have 5 of them and they can all fall off the same time. What do you mean by planning to dispute it as obsolete? Never heard of this one. Thanks.
  6. Hi. I have a couples of 7 year old account pass the 1st date of delinquency (5 of them 04/2003). Whats the best way to dispute them? Should I order a 3in1 (currently only have a monitor from EX) or separate orders from TU and EQ? Can I just file one dispute of all of them on there to each credit bureau since its all for the same reasons? Thanks.
  7. Ok. Today we went in to sign and updated GFE. Got the interest rate to drop a little 5.3% saved 7 dollars a month
  8. Hi. Finally 7 years has gone by and almost all my collection is SOL (Minnesota, Virginia). My Medical bills in Virginia they where to lazy to bill tricare, I don't care to work with tricare and the OC to resolve this problem anymore. This is back in 2004, it'll soon be time for them to come off. Ok. I have 1 file under Negative Accounts with a charge off. The correct date to be looking at from my understanding is the Delinquency Date as it start my 7 year. Dates is as follow: Date Opened: 2003/04 Date Reported: 02/2005 Date of First Delinquency: 04/2003 Under Collections I have 5 files. All 5 files the Date of 1st Delinquency are the same. EX of one dates as follow: Date Reported: 08/2006 Date Assigned: 04/2003 Date of 1 st Delinquency: 04/2003 Balance Date: 08/2006 From my knowledge and understanding, I would go by the Date of 1st Delinquency. I currently only have a credit monitor with EQ (Equifax). Some of my questions are: 1) When ordering credit report to dispute these files, can I go 3in1 or should I order them separate from TU and EX (Experain)? 2) If ordering separate for dispute, should I just get credit monitor until I finish disputing? 3) What would be the best way to dispute files like this (inaccurate, demand for them to take it off). All advise are welcome. I am not looking forward to paying any of any of my collections. Thanks.
  9. Hi. I was looking at my credit report and it says: Negative Account Accounts that contain a negative account status. Accounts not paid as agreed generally remain on your credit file for 7 years from the date the account first became past due leading to the current not paid status. Late Payment History generally remains on your credit file for 7 years from the date of the late payment. 1 file under Negative Account: Date Opened: 2003/04 Date Reported: 02/2005 Date of First Delinquency: 04/2003 Accounts under Collections are they supposed to be removed after 7 years also like the Negative Account? I have 5 collections account around the same date. EX of 1 collection: Date Reported: 08/2006 Date Assigned: 04/2003 Date of 1 st Delinquency: 04/2003 What is the best way to dispute this: I was thinking of inaccurate. I need advise as how I should get these off as they been there too long. These old one is the only major things on my report now as I try disputting them but these was the one i couldn't get off. I started with 13+ depending on which CA report you looked at. These are just under the EQ. Should I order TU and EX report to get this going on the others too? 3in1 or ssingle of each company? Order a one time report or order a unlimit/mointor type of the other 2 CA? Thanks.
  10. I like navyfcu but the only thing I hate about it i had two issue with them not having the title. The 1st time I handed it to a bracnh in person. The 2nd time we turned in the title to the dmv and the dmv sent the title to them. I'm thinkin about getting another auto loan from them. But IDk, don't want to go thur the hassle of having problems with them not receiving the title.
  11. Thanks. I don't want to go though this again. I am closing friday. I did a little playing on the mortgage calculator and saving $50 more a month I would be needing to be in the 4s. I am happy either way.
  12. Oh ok. It's probably good. Well locked in mid oct. Fue
  13. Any inputs? Is this a good rate or should I expected something lower? I was expecting lower 5.25 or lower.
  14. Yes they will ask for a lot of stuff. Be prepare to sign a lot of more papers. Than wait for about a 1 month to close. In between that inspections, appraisal and more paper work. Than catching and rushing stuff for the underwriter, bank statement again, credit report, more paper to sign, oh forgot this paper, oh come in and sign this one, oh we need this done before we close (in 4 days). Oh sorry the underwriter doesn't want it that way, can you redo it. Oh no not that way (you just told me it was that way???). I am expecting maybe a last credit report pulled on the day of or before also (pulled two already). Lots of stress buying. Worth it in the end. Got to buy one sooner or later.
  15. intestrate is 5.5% We offered 84k. The house wwas being sold by the original owner (43 years old) and other poeple started looking at the house too. The seller said he would had accepted the offered but other poeple was looking at the house when we were offering to so he decided to counter us. This was mid oct when the 1st time home buyer rebate was about to end (extend for military) I am wondering if my interest is a good deal, bad, or ok? Opinions?
