GonnaDoIt, any credit monitoring service will only give you alerts if something changes on your file (missed payment, inquiry, etc). Also your credit score will change only if there is a reason to it. At least it's what I am getting with FreeCreditReport.

Yes, I will take GEORGE advice and send the dispute. I know freecreditreport.com doesn't give you FICO score, but it gives you Equifax Plus score.

I just pulled out my credit score from freecreditreport and saw that it dropped to 726. The reason is that I have 2 "hard inquiries" on my report and I wasnt shopping for mortgage or applying for credit card at this time. It happened this September and I am certain I didn't apply for anything. It comes from Landsafe Credit - I googled tham but couldnt find anything who they are. Please help - did this happen to anyone else? Thank you

Which service did you use to get all your 3 credit report ansd scores? Is disputing the errors a part of the package? Thank you

I think #8 is a big no-no. You dont want to cancel the credit cards you dont use - it will reduce your "credit potentials"
